I know, some of you are asking for updates (COUGH COUGH you know who you are), so I am updating. Oh, and yes, some of this information is from online and some is from what I remember when I was in China. I could be a tour guide XD. Enjoy!
Chapter 3
1215 hours
King's Palace Hotel
"Ben still likes you pumpkins" I heard Catherine say to Erica while the rest of us were greeting each other.
Jessica smirked, so I guess she heard that.
"Where do you want to go first?" Asked Jessica's mother, who was very unlike her husband who was mean and stern. She was nice and friendly.
"Uh, I was hoping I could rest a little bit after the flight" I answered
"Oh, ok. Your room is room 701. It's the first one on the seventh floor," Said Jessica, "Come, I'll bring you to it."
She went into the elevator and pressed the "7" button. When the door opened, I was shocked by how luxurious this hotel was. There were chandeliers on the ceiling and spotless carpeting on the floor.
"Wow," I unconsciously said.
"Ya, it's pretty cool right? I mean this is the KING's Palace'" Jessica joked. "There's your room"
She pointed at the first door to our right, it had a little 701 on a golden plate on the door.
"Oh, and here's your keycard" She added as she handed me a card.
"Thanks," I replied, still a little bit shocked.
Warning: I'm horrible at descriptive writing.
I entered the room, it had a large head to foot window giving an incredible view of the city. A twin bed sat in the middle of the room with a little box on top. I walked into the bathroom; it was incredibly large, larger than my dorm in Spy School. Then again, I've seen closets bigger than my Spy School dorm. I opened the tap, warm water came flowing out. I walked out of the bathroom, something caught my eye. The little red box that sat on my bed, it had a hotel logo on it - two golden lions standing up and in the middle was a golden crown. I opened the box, there were towels and pens. I don't know why, but hotels always give us pens and notepads. Like we need them. Then I saw a note at the bottom.

0500 hours in the hotel lobby mission starting.

I nodded to myself, it was from Cyrus.
First though, I really was tired. So I decided to take a nap, and I fell asleep fairly quickly.
I was woken up by Erica at 8:13pm.
"Ben! Wake up! You've been sleeping the entire day!" I heard someone say.
I opened my eyes.
"What?" I whispered
"You've been sleeping the whole day! You need to wake up!" Said Erica
"Give me 10 minutes"I said going back to sleep
Erica sighed.

I was now on a taxi with Jessica, Zoe and Mike (Erica didn't want to come) going to see the Tian An Men. (天安门) It was lit up at night and it was quite pretty, I could barely see some text on the massive gate. On the right it read "Long Live the People's Republic of China" () and the right one reads "Long Live the Great Unity of the World's Peoples". () After an hour of walking around then we went to the Monument to the People's Heroes (人民英雄纪念碑). After about 2 hours we went back to the hotel to get some rest, while the rest of us, Jessica included, was going to be waking up at 0300 for reconnaissance.
Overall the first day in China wasn't so bad, for now...
