Ahhhh, the Yule Ball is tomorrow and I don't have a date.
I was eating breakfast in the Great Hall, when Malfoy approached me.
"Hey red!" He called out.
"Are you talking to me! You talking to me? I'm the only one here so you must be talking to me!" That wasn't true, I've just always wanted to say that.
"You and me, Yule Ball, pick you up at 7:00." And with that he stalked off. Like a stalker.
Hermione turned to me with her eyebrows scrunched together, trying to process what just happened.
"Hey! Shizballs!" I called back to Draco.
"What?" He turned back around to face us.
"Why did you ask me?" I asked him.
"If I don't ask you, I'll have to go with Pansy. No one wants to go with that face haunting you all night long." He shuddered. Ron choked on his pumpkin juice as he chortled in laughter. I even saw Harry and Hermione spare a small smile.
"7:00 it is." I smiled as he smirked at me. Not in a mean way almost in a genuine way. Almost.

The other girls in the Common Room were rushing around their dorms trying to get ready for the ball 4 hours early. Wow. I am so glad Hermione was my only dorm mate and she wasn't a lunatic.
About 2 hours later, Hermione and I were both in the showers. I was washing in cherry scents. While Hermione was lathering herself in some bubblegum.
Once we both got out and had put on robes, I sat Hermione in a chair. I took out my ever so loyal wand and waved it around brainstorming as she marveled at it.
"Maquillage parfait!" I chanted. It was perfect. She had purple eyeshadow and soft, natural, pink lips. That is one heck of a spell. My turn. I did the same with myself and found myself with red eyeshadow and bold, red lipstick with a clear gloss coat over it. Hair! I waved my wand around the both of us.
"Boucle!" Our hair were in big, curly ringlets. I put Hermione's in a sort of up do thing with some curs falling cutely. My hair was put in a half up half down style with a red bow. I quickly applied some silver, sparkly nail polish. I was about to put some pink on Hermione's nails when I noticed how poor and bitten down they were. So I had to use a spell to make them longer, thicker, and overall just healthier.
"Sain!" I sang pointing at her nails. They were instantly healthier, allowing me to proceed with her nails.
"Okay save the energy, robes!" Our dresses were on us immediately. I picked out some white flats for Hermione and some silver pumps for me. We went to look in the full length mirror and gasped.
"You look beautiful!" We yelled at the same time. My dress was red and Hermione's dress was pink and purple.
"I had no idea you could do so much with magic!" She shrieked out of happiness. I chuckled realizing we did complete this whole process with my magic skillz with a Z.
We sneaked out of the Common Room and waited at the Great Hall Doors. We went down at the same time slowly and dramatically. You could hear people gasp just like we did in the dorms.
"Is that Hermione Granger and Jennifer Potter?" They whispered. Talk about keeping someone insecure.
I quickly found Draco like Hermione did Viktor Krum.
"Hi." I said awkwardly. AWKWARD TURTLE UP IN DA PLACE!!
"Hello." He said equally as awkwardly if not a bit more. OH YEAH I BEAT DRACO MALFOY IN THE LESS AWKWARD CONTEST!!
