Chapter 9: Black's Back and he's in Black

JENNIFER'S POV

Harry and I went to transfiguration where McGonnagall told us not to worry and Trelawney was just an old fraud. What a waste of my hours.

Me , Hermione, Ron and Harry left and made our way to Hagrid's cabin for care of magical creatures.

"Can we talk about it?" Harry asked me.

"About what?" I asked pretending not to know. I needed a distraction. Then it struck me. I use things I hate for distractions. And what do I hate most? 1 DIRECTION! Hey I'm a muggle lover don't kill me! It's a parody!

"Baby we light up your world like nobody else! The way that we flip our hair gets you overwhelmed!" I shouted/sung. Hagrid heard me.

"'Ey! what ar' yeh doin' 'ear so early!?" he asked us.

"Um just wanted to see you early." I half lied. We planned to see Hagrid early but we were unsure of what Trelawney would say.

"Yeah we are so excited for you-" Harry began.

"-you get to do something you love and get paid for it!" I finished. Now I need a birth certificate we have got to be twins.

"Well, can yeh start a line at the edge of the forest for me, thank yeh." he told us. I realized that I didn't have my Care of Magical Creatures Book. Oh snargle!

"Hagrid, can I go back upstairs and get my books?" I asked.

"Sure."

"Thanks!" I chirped and made my way to the common room humming Here's to Never Growing Up by Avril Lavigne.
I ran up to the girl dorms and thought of Voldemort. He really is a coward. Anyone who can't accept death is a coward. And plus having unfortunate people do their biddings for you! Lazy! I grabbed my book and headed back down.I was at the edge of the forest when I heard someone shout.

"Dementor! Dementor!" I ran towards the voice and saw something no one would want to see. With his back turned to me was none other was Draco Malfoy messing with my brother. "Watch out Potter the dementors are coming! Whooooo!"

"Watch out Malfoy your girlfriend is coming." I said. Draco turned around so fast I thought I heard his neck crack.

"H-hello Jennifer, d-d-didn't know you were there." he stuttered. Wimp.

"Yeah well that's that's the least of your problems now because Draco, you mess with one potter you mess with both potters. And when you mess with me, well none are alive to explain it to us now are they?" I said calmly.

"Jenny, I, he, he messed with me first." He lied.

"Oh my goodness! You would actually stoop that low! No one believes you! You know what, Harry was right, as always, and his proof is that this relationship lasted two days! You screwed it! You know how you screwed it, because your you! that's why!" I yelled, " And incase it was unclear, WE ARE OVER!" I stormed out of the forest to my favorite spot by the lake and started singing.

I saw a black dog come and sit beside me. I pet it and it looked so familiar, I just couldn't put my finger on it at the moment.

"Hi, I'm Jennifer Potter. I just had a heart break and I need to vent. You don't mind do you?" I asked the dog. To my surprise it shook his head.

"Um...okay let's take a walk. wait! I need to name you! you have Serious potential. Ooh! I know I'll call you Sirius in sign that I am still loyal to my god-father Sirius Black! pets have that walk. Okay Sirius I'm going to vent as we walk. First, you know the man I was telling you about Sirius well everyone thinks he's murderer and he's not i know he's not. No one listens to me about it." I told Sirius about my problems then realization struck no literally I hit me like a lightning bolt. I gasped out loud. I smiled at the dog and said, "Uncle Sirius, long time no see don't ya think." the dog barked and Uncle Sirius transformed an I found out that bark was laughter.

"Jennifer! Dinner is over I've been looking for you for an hour! Are you out here!" I heard Hermione. Wow. I've been talking all night. I don't want them to find me. I looked at uncle Sirius.

"I'll chase her away." he sighed he turned in dog form started barking and ran out o the forest. He came back and changed.

"She's gone come on I have a place we can stay." he transformed back and lead me to the Whomping Willow. He hit a knot on the tree and it became still. Cool. He lead me through a tunnel and up a set of stairs and there was a bed room.

"Cool" I said coolly. We laughed and talked all night. One time when I was in the middle of saying sometime my mouth turned into a beak and I quacked.

"Bless you." my Uncle laughed.

"It's not funny but I think I'm a meatamoragus."

"Well congrats." he said.

"Goodnight uncle Sirius."
