I am Jennifer and I stared out in the the midnight blue sky and wondered if I would ever get to meet my older brother, Harry Potter. I had kept a secret that only my adoption mother knew of: I, Jennifer Lawrence am actually Jennifer Potter, sister of Harry Potter.

Voldemort "died" when Harry was one and a half. A couple months after Harry was born I was born. I stayed at the hospital for a few weeks but one night something different happened Lord Voldemort came into the hospital and kidnapped me. He wanted Harry to grow up miserable and if he killed my parents Harry would still have me. Once we left the hospital,- for some mysterious reason unseen- Voldemort dropped me off at this house with a letter to my mother that read:

Miranda-
You grew up with me so you know what I will do if you fail to succeed in this mission. This his Harry Potter's sister. Your job is to raise her no exceptions. I want her unknown of her true identity and concealed from other witches or wizards. All you may tell her about her true self is her first and middle name. I will be checking in.
Tom Riddle

Months later Voldemort "died" and my mother told me my true identity. She feared he would come back but couldn't bear not telling me.

Ever since I learned to use the internet I tried to find my brother but no use. He wasn't back at Hogwarts yet. It was going to be his third year and my second I was homeschooled for my first year. I was so anxious to meet him my dreams started to have him in them and I usually dreamed of Voldemort.

I walked down to the small, yet cozy kitchen and opened a desk drawer and pulled out the letter Voldemort had eleven years ago. I read it over and felt a tear cascade down my cheek on the parchment. "Why let such brilliant talent go to waste?" I thought. As I put the letter back in the drawer I came across a golden locket with a snake on it. As I touched it I felt some sort of rage that came from the locket. I quickly put it in the drawer and closed it.

Suddenly I heard a know on the door. It wasn't just any knock, only my best friend would knock in a pattern like that. Excitedly I opened the door to a smiling best friend of mine Hermione Granger. She grew up with muggles so we became friends and when she was eleven she explained having to go to Hogwarts. That's when I told her my story about Harry, Voldemort, and the hospital.

She studied my braided brown hair, my blue-green eyes, and my yellow sundress.

"Ready for your first year at Hogwarts," she asked me.

"I thought you said we had to get a letter," I said it like a question though I knew it was a statement.

Her bright smile changed quickly to a dull frown. I knew immediately something was wrong.

"You should have gotten it by now, but I think I may know what happened to it," she said a new smile growing on her face. I gave her a questioning look that told her: tell me now.

"Maybe I have it," she said pulling two Hogwarts letters from behind her back.

"Yay!" I celebrated.

"Wait you're not dressed properly. Everyone knows your name, the girl who was baby napped by you know who."

" Oooooo, I better put on a ball gown," I said sarcastically,"Wait,do they know my actual name?"

"Hurry up and change. Harry and Ron are so anxious to meet you."

I ran upstairs and changed into a blue sweater and jeans. I put my cloak on and called by to my mother and we were on our way to meet my brother and the Weasleys.
