"You shouldn't have to be alone for Christmas! You can stay at my pace! That's what Remus is doing. My mom's great you'll love her,"

Rhiannon and Remus hadn't talked to each other since what happened at the bar, she was fine with it, fine with seeing him and Maddie kiss, fine with hearing him talk about her all the fucking time.

"James, I'll be fine. As extroverted as I am, I like alone time." They hug tightly then James and Remus grab their trunks and leave the common room.

"Thanks for my Hanukkah gifts!" Marlene yells from outside the common room door, she was waiting for Mary. "I love the Queen Vinyl!"

After tons of goodbyes, Rhiannon was alone. Nobody was there. She was sitting in her bed after getting ready this morning to say goodbye to everyone.

She looked through all the records the girls had and looked at the singles. Eleanor Rigby. She took the record, placed the needle, fell back on her bed, listened to the song, and the lyrics.

All the lonely people
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong?

As the song went on it really sunk in. I'm the only one not seeing their family for Christmas. Even a fucking orphan has a house to stay at. She sighed and grabbed her wand, closing the blinds so the dorm was dark. She just laid there and cried, her eye shadow now messy. The door to the dorm room opened, it was Mary.

"Forgot my trunk." She runs and grabs it from her bed then looks at Rhiannon. "Holy shit, are you alright?"

"I'm fine," she mutters, wiping her eyes. She hates talking about her feelings so she was hoping that Mary wasn't going to make this a huge thing.

Mary sits down next to Rhiannon, "I can stay here with you, I can cancel on my mom and stay."

"No."

Mary's eyes become deep and she furrows her eyebrows, confused. "What?"

"Go. You're going to be late. Leave. Now!"
