We looked at the door but we didn’t pull apart yet. There they were Gark (Geert Wilders and Mark Rutte). But it wasn’t just them.. They were kissing. Wow I could use this against them. Oh wait shit they saw us. Now it was just the 4 men staring at each other. We all had no clue what people have to say in this situation so we just kept staring. 

‘So I think we should all just keep our mouth shut’, Geert said.

We just all agreed. Mark remembered he had the first speech and ran out. Geert had no point in being here anymore so he also left. But he gives us a dirty look. Is this donkey still homophobic towards us AFTER we found out he’s also gay. 

I know we should head back but I can’t resist myself. I grab his neck and kiss him again. 

‘We can’t go any further’, I whine against his lips.

‘Your house. After work’.

I nod quickly.

‘But we need to talk, Rob’.

‘I know, it’s probably for the best if you just go further with your wife…’

‘I’m not really sure about that, can we keep this a secret? Just until I’ve figured out what I’m going to do with Jolein and stuff’.

‘But what about your kids?’

‘They hate heteros, they’re hip.’

We share one last kiss before we go back. 

We get a lot of weird looks there but Mark explains we needed some papers. That’s weird, he bullies me normally. Then I remembered that we saw him with Geert. If Gark comes out that would be a big scandal because he is THE prime-minister.

I’m tired even though I couldn’t focus on my work, I didn’t do much. My head is spinning around with thoughts about the kiss. The ones I had today with Rob, but also all the kisses with Jolein. A lot of old memories come back to me. Late evenings with Jolein. The times we were young and extremely in love, the honeymoon times, the wedding where she looked so beautiful, our first kid…. All these times I was 100% sure that I would spend the rest of my life with this woman. But now there is a man who makes me feel like a typical quirky teenage girl with a crush on the popular boy. He just makes me feel like I'm young again. Falling in love ,again….
