Ginny continued to hold the blonde's hand as Hagrid led them into the Forbidden Forest.

"Hmmm, very romantic, I see" Ron teased at the pair. "Oh shut up Ron."

I don't give a living shit what Ron says. Plus, my feelings for Luna are growing stronger. But she probably doesn't feel the same way...

"Your detention for tonight is to collect some berries that I'm going to use with my first years in their lesson tomorrow. They look like this." He held up a bunch of small, hard-looking red berries. "Just make sure not ta eat em or smell em too hard. They- er- give yer a- er- bad stomach." Ginny laughed along with the others, and was glad to see Luna laughing too, some of her anxiety fading. Hagrid looked slightly embarrassed. Ginny couldn't blame him. None of them could.

Hagrid said they should split into pairs and go on a berry hunt from there. "Alrigh', so, Harry an' me, Ron an' Hermione, Ginny an' Luna, an' Neville can go with Fang. Are yer alrigh' with tha' everyone?" They all agreed, looking slightly nervous, and then branched off into different directions, and started searching for berries.

Ginny realized she was still holding Luna's hand, but the latter was making no protest, so she kept it that way.

Ginny was wanting to tell Luna something.

I want to come out to her. I really do. She did come out to me, after all. Would it make things weird? No, and I know that.. I've gotten more comfortable around Luna again since the beginning of the year. I'm relieved about that, atleast!

I'm going to do it. I want to.

"Luna?" Ginny blurts out nervously. "mhm?" "Well, I- I want to tell you something."

Here goes nothing. If worst comes to worst, atleast I can swallow or sniff some of the berries we'll find! No, no, you're being too dramatic... damn't Ginny just do it already! Ok. Here it goes. For real... Ha ha.

"I wanted to tell you that I'm-" Ginny hesitated on the word that cold change everything "bisexual." There. It was done. Time to swallow some berries, right? I mean, Ginny already couldn't breathe. Luna smiled so big it almost stretched to her ears and hugged Ginny. "I'm so proud of you Gin!" Ginny noticed Luna had a really cute dimple when she smiled... at the corner of her mouth. Ginny found herself staring at Luna's lips...

Snap out of it, Ginny! She's your friend, and she doesn't even like you back!

"Oi!" Ron rounded the corner with Hermione close behind him. "Have you two found any berries yet? Me n Hermione have only found one bunch."

Ginny was mad and grateful at her brother at the same time for ruining the moment.

Oh well. If detention means spending more time with Luna Lovegood, then I'm all for it!
