Plot:
Throughout history, people have vanished with no explanation. A group of teenagers are about to discover why.
Cade is settling into a new boarding school, contemplating his future, when he finds himself transported to another realm. He soon discovers their new world is populated with lost remnants from the past: prehistoric creatures, ancient relics, and stranger still — people. Overwhelmed by his new surroundings, Cade has little time to adjust, for soon he and his fellow classmates are forced to become contenders in a brutal game, controlled by mysterious overlords.
But who are these beings and why did they choose these teens? Cade must prepare for battle . . . because hiding is not an option.
Review:
This book is surprisedly much more darker.
Imagine being tossed in another world where your worsr nightmares came to life. To play some god damn forsaken game, to survive it.
Huh, almost like chess and other scary survival games.
That isn't only thing you read in this book, apparently, no matter where your from or year, you got no choice but to fight or try to survive in the damn wild or be use as slaves for other people.
Cade, one of characters in this book is pretty smart, but I feel like Cade going to suffer lot because toward the end of the book, some of his friends died.
Finch or whatever his name, a coward, a bully and jerk, run away. So, honestly, I don't care about him, I hope that coward dies.
Anyway, the God showed up, talk to him, flat out told him, he pretty much a toy in this stupid game of survival and chance.
I wonder what BK 2 is going to be about? More fighting? More death? Who knows. I just hope Cade and his other friends can make it.
