Plot:
The Alkahest — a copper gauntlet capable of separating certain magicians from their magic — has been stolen. And in their search to discover the culprit, Call and his friends Aaron and Tamara awaken the attention of some very dangerous foes — and get closer to an even more dangerous truth.
Review:
Book 2 of this wonderful series, I actually just finished this book, like.....30 mins ago. So, I got lot to say.
Starting off in chapter of this book, I was already on edge of my seat, Callum knowng who he really is. Was sad, even having chaos ridden wolf as pet didn't help.
He wanted to be him, not that evil bastard.
But it was hard on Callum, so hard. Doesn't help that his father knew, he discover that his father wanted to kill his pet and him, runaway from home. But, truth be told, that wasn't what his father wanted to do, communication in between was bad.
But, Callum didn't tell his friends until toward the end, boy, they were hurt and shock, minus Jasper, he was sort of a dick, but discovering that he becomes mean when he's nervous.
When they got up to assembly, oh man, the scene was hella funny and Jasper? Man, I have respect for him now. He's still a dick but honest dick.
I wonder gonna happen in next book.
