Luke finally asked me to go to his house. I thought he never would. I was nervous about meeting his mom, though.

I knocked on the door to Luke's house and a woman opened who I knew was Luke's mom.

"You must be Violet," she said as I came in the door. She hugged me and I hugged back.

"I'm Liz. Luke is upstairs," she said and I nodded and headed that way.

"Hey babe," I said opening the door.

"Hey princess," he said. He was holding his guitar.

"Working on some music?" I asked him and sat on his bed.

"Michael and Ashton are writing a song together," he told me.

"Speaking of Ashton, did you hear he got a date with Cassandra," I said.

"I did! I'm happy for him!" He exclaimed.

"How's Calum?" I asked.

"He's been pretty depressed lately," he reported. I felt bad for him, he's a good guy.

As he told me things going on in his life, I looked around his room. I scanned his room for something interesting to see. I stopped at a photo of him and a girl around my age together at what I was guessing was disney world.

"Who's that?" I asked him pointing to the photo.

"My ex, Aleisha," he said as if it was no big deal.

"Oh," I said staring off in space, not sure if I was mad or sad about it.

"I can put it away if it bothers you," he said and I nodded. He got up and shoved the picture in a random drawer.

"Do you keep that picture there because you still have feelings for her?" I asked not thinking about what I was saying.

"No, Violet, I love you!" He said, defensively. I nodded but clearly with doubt.

"You don't believe me," he said, looking at me in the eyes.

"My ex, James, cheated on me with his ex, Naomi," I told him, tears in my eyes.

"Do you really think I'm like that? Violet, that's insane! Did I give you that impression? That's stupid!" He said not realizing he called me stupid.

"Violet! That's not what I meant I swear it. You're not stupid! Violet, I'm sorry, that's not what I meant!" He Said and I wasn't sure if I could forgive him just like that. and I just snapped and a waterfall of tears came out of my eyes.

"Violet, I'm so sorry," his voice cracking, like he was gonna cry too.

"Maybe Michael is right and all guys are the same," I said sobbing.

"No, Violet, I swear, I didn't mean it," he said and a tear spilled down his cheeks. It was my fault we fought anyway. I shouldn't have brought it up. Also, Luke sad equals Violets heart breaking.

"I believe you, I'm sorry I get so sensitive," I said and put my head on his shoulder. He put his arms around me so now my head was on his chest.

"I'm sorry I freaked out, but I want you to know that I love you and only you," he told me and he started to stroke my hair and I closed my eyes.

"I know," I said sleepily. And I fell asleep with my head on his chest our hearts beating in sync.
