When Mia said we would cover ourselves in animal blood she didn't say head to toe. Ugh! It's in my hair, in my shoes, if I blink too much it might get in my eyes. So we're waddling through trees looking like we just massacred a whole town. Well I'm waddling, Mia looks like she's in her element she stops looks around then starts walking again. She told me to be careful not to rub against to much she don't want them to track us. Also to follow her footsteps precisely. I'm tired irritated and hungry. I tell Mia that. she stopped looked at me then looked around. "Ok, we'll wash in the lake then head to town she said. I thought she would say no let's continue, but she did say we'll go my pace. Are we there yet? I wined I hate to sound childish but I could barely walk another step. "Yes, we're here human," Mia groaned. I could care less how she felt right now I dropped to my knees. And crawled to the water right before I was about to touch the water Mia told me to wait. I groaned to myself what now I thought, as I still on hands and knees turned my head to look at her. "Take off your clothes you'll get sick if you walk with them wet." So she has a heart I thought."Thank you" I said honestly. Hm she replied back. I started taking off my clothes and shoes my feet has never hurt so bad. I then slipped into the freezing water. My body relaxed instantly. "This is heaven" I breathed out. "CANNNOOONNN BALLL!!!" "AH!" I screamed, as Mia made a big splash. "Why would you do that! Now I just drank dirty lake water, I'm gonna die from drinking dirty lake water! I hope you know that." I sent a few splashes her way. Mia laughed at first but then she started choking on the water I splashed her with. Now it was my turn to laugh. "Hey so you're gonna take me with you? I've got important things to do I can't die from lake water." I started swimming, "like what?" I inquired. "Well, she started I'm going to be the Alpha one day. That's no walk in the park I intend on being the best leader I can be for my pack. I looked at her in awe. I don't know what an alpha is but she seems serious about it. It's inspiring to have a goal like that. Mia backstrokes to the edge of the water, "we gotta get a move on" it's getting late and I want to start moving again in the morning." I swim to the edge and start to raise up to get my clothes. I stumble while I walk on the hard ground. I sit while I put my shirt on I scrunch my pants up to put them on sitting down. "Here let me help," before I could say I got it, a fully clothed Mia takes my pants and put them on up to my thighs. I scoot them on. I feel embarrassed for some reason. "Thank you" I say. "I told you not to push yourself I told you to tell me when you're tired but did you listen nooo now I gotta carry you." I huffed, as she hoisted me onto her back. "My shoes", I wined. "Yeah yeah I got them", Mia huffed.
