Vamp And Wolf Truest Love Story

Chapter Six

Just crossing the northern border further away from my home I stopped. Me and my wolf had to get some sleep, I didn't want to be exhausted when I finally met my mate. Shifting was a no go my father had told me, remember never shift when you're alone. Thinking about my father's words made me miss home.

I wanted to fill my belly with some food, ya know wolf metabolism. All the food I ate from my party was long gone since I just ran through the whole north side nonstop.
Quickly letting my wolf senses kick in my ears could hear everything. I could hear a rabbit fart if I wanted them to.
Picking up the sound of a deer, I quickly but silently stalked toward it. Making my scent go the opposite of the deer so not to send it running. I get down on my belly and a crawl to my prey. It's ears perked up, I stopped. Just like for the humans, hunting takes time if you want the kill you have to be patient.

It looked around for a little bit longer searching for any nearby predator. Feeling secure it put its head down continuing its grassy meal. I very slowly and silently proceeded to stalk toward my prey just as I was about to put a meal in my belly a savage growl sent my wolf into high alert. With the dear long gone I sniffed the air but didn't smell anything they must be down wind. Making a circle so not to be snuck up on I let out a deep warning growl then it happened four wolves surrounded. Me I'm a pretty big wolf to be a female but as soon as I saw them I knew I was outnumbered they were big and males. I let my alpha influence surround them. If they were affected they sure as hell didn't show it. They all lunged for me at once. My wolf started working she two stepped out the way of the closest and clawed a good chunk out of the next one and of course the next blow was mine to take the third one got a hold of my hind leg and bit down hard. I howled in pain but quickly clawed at him getting him in the eye. He let go of my leg to do his own bit of howling but not for long as I went for the kill, biting down on his neck stopping his howls killing him. Not having the moment to tend to my leg another wolf jumped on my back clawing my back. I rolled over to throw him off my back he let go not before leaving a deep gash on my back. I got up, careful not to put pressure on my left hind leg. I threw myself on one wolf, and dug my claws in  multiple times I kept clawing at him until he stopped moving. There were only two left, but with my leg and the loss of too much blood there was no hope of finishing off two big wolves. I was moving slow, too slow the wolves started to play with me. I would try to move out of the way they would pull their attacks and just give me a small cut not finishing me off. Falling after the last claw I couldn't stand any longer. My vision started to falter so this is how I'll go. I thought to myself killed by rouges. My eyes too heavy to lift I laid there to feel the final blow, but I wouldn't have felt it because I blacked out.

She was here out of every place I looked she was in my own back yard, but where? I didn't sense another vampire I didn't care and those mutts was surrounding someone her scent was strong there so with a loud snarl I was on the mutts it wasn't hard to kill them. Confusion, awe, and anger consumed me. She was a werewolf. It couldn't be it wasn't possible! Did the moon goddess hate me this much? Looking at her thinking how beautiful she is. What am I thinking!? I had to move her breathing wasn't good and she was still in wolf form she must be strong most wolves couldn't stay in wolf form after being beaten unless they were dead. I picked her up as gently as I could and ran.

I slammed the doors opened to my home surprised they didn't fall off the hinges.
I ran all the way to the medical ward.
"Help!" my eyes wide with terror I could barely hear her breathing. "King Kaden!" my doctor was in shock seeing me with a wolf in my arms. Hell! anyone who saw me thought I went batshit crazy. "Save her," I whispered in sadness. I felt a hand on my shoulder. I growled. "Calm down bro, I'm just hear to help. If she's who I think she is then you're not gonna let her go without a fight." My sister was right just the thought of anyone taking her from me made me want their blood. "Alright give me her." My sister is the only one I trust with anything, with my life. So holding back my primal side I handed my mate to her.
She quickly handed her to the doctor while telling him to save her. Quickly as she let go of my mate she grabbed me just as I started for her. "We have to give the doctor time," with that she led me out of the infirmary.

"What happened?" My sister asked, while sitting my piping hot chocolate down in front of me. "She's a white wolf," I tell my sister in a daze. "How did this happen? I mean a mutt of all creatures it must suck to be yo-." I let my hand slam on the table. "Look! I will not have you talking bad about my mate! She is not a mutt she is my other half my soulmate!" I screamed at her. I've never screamed at my sister before, It took me by surprise, and by the way her mouth was open and eyes wide she wasn't expecting an outburst either. She finally closed her mouth and didn't say a word. The chair creaked and before I could blink she was gone, but I could hear the soft click of her door closing behind her.
I had hurt my sister. I promised myself I would always protect her, and keep her happy. As of right now I feel like I put a stake though my own chest.

Leaving my hot chocolate untouched to hurry to get to my mate. I didn't know what would happen will she accept me? Will I her? At that time the only thing I was concerned about was her being okay.

OMYGOOODEEESSS!🤣 I don't even know what happened!!!! Kaden was all like (deep vampire voice) I love her..... well he didn't say it like but pfft he might as well😚😚😚
