~Recap~
My dad called out to me "Mia it's time." As I stepped out the back door I was completely speechless, which for me, yeah
Never happens.
~recap over~

~Mia~

Awestruck that's what Mia felt. It was still light out so there was a day theme going on. Red and white balloons everywhere. They had built a platform, in which Mia's dad was standing on. Her dad looked at her and smiled. Beckoning her toward him, she walked over quickly. Making it, her brother helped her up the stairs hand in arm. He's such a gentleman, she thought. "Happy birthday sis." He murmured while reaching the top only when her dad took her hand did he let go. The alpha started his speech. "Welcome to White Moon Pack. The alpha didn't have to talk loud, his voice could be heard all throughout the crowd. I've gathered you all here today to celebrate my beautiful daughter's sixteenth birthday." cheers erupted from the crowd. ""Please, he began to speak again as we celebrate introduce yourself to her and if her mate's not here she will go and find him. We will all shift to run with her and support her as she goes on her journey. To the territory line is as far as we go and then will her destiny awaits."" More cheers, and hoots were shouted but, Mia's dad was finished talking. He grabbed her up in a hug "happy birthday kiddo." "Thanks Dad."

As the party swang into full effect, Mia was greeted by over a dozen wolves male and female all to see if they were her mate. To her dismay as the day began to wane she knew she would have to leave her home.

Sitting by herself under a tree she thought. She didn't want to leave her pack this is all she knew. Letting her fears get the best of her she had a bouquet of what ifs. What if he's dead? What if he doesn't exist? What if he rejects me? Wiping away a few droplets of tears, hoping no one saw she looked up to an outstretched hand.

"Come on birthday girl no need to cry, and besides you're gonna look like a zombie bitch if you keep that up," he said pulling her up. "Bitch you wish!" she retorted while giving him a well deserved punch. "Language!" her mom shouted from somewhere in the crowd. Mia's eyes widen while Chris frantically looked around to look for his Luna. They both laughed. You should've seen your face! No, you should've seen your face they both said as they tried to control their fits of laughter.
"Dance with me!" he yelled as their favorite song began to play. No Type, by Rae Sremmurd:

I ain't got no type (Nah)
Bad bitches is the only thing that I like
You ain't got no life (Nah)
Cups with the ice and we do this every night
I ain't check the price (I got it)
I make my own money so I spend it how I like
I'm just living life
And let my momma tell it nigga I ain't living right (nope)

Chop the top off the Porsche, that's a headless horse
Extendo long as an extension cord (cord)
Bitch I ball like Jordan and I play full court (I play full court)
And if you not my type then you know I got to keep this shit short (I got to keep this shit short)
What you know about a check?
What you got up in your pocket?
What you spending when you shopping, dawg?
Why you wanna go flex like you all in the mix?

Chris and Mia were having a good time shouting/sing the words and dancing to the music

~Three hours later~

"It's time." The alpha voice could be heard in every single wolf's mind including Mia's. It was dark, the party over but the celebration was just beginning. Chris gave her hand a squeeze. "Good luck," he said. With her nerves on edge all she could manage was a small nod.
She went to her father. "Shift kiddo," he said. He looked to the crowd with his piercing green eyes he bellowed "Shift!" letting his wolf speak. As he commanded every wolf, alphas included couldn't help but shift. Yep that's my dad Mia thought proudly. After every wolf shifted her dad shifted, his big black wolf stood taller and stronger than any other wolf. As a sign of respect every wolf bowed before him. He looked at Mia his baby girl, his eyes peered into hers. "Stand tall young one as they bow before you." Her dad's wolf spoke to her. She felt a spark of power standing tall she spoke, "run with me alphas, betas, omegas, and all. Run with me to the edge, to my journey of finding my other half my mate." With that she turned and ran a sea of wolves followed closely behind her covering the forest with their coats. A beautiful site indeed. Soon her brother ran behind her "you can do it sis," he encouraged. Her mom soon came up running flanking her left side squeezing in next to her husband "this is exciting!" Her wolf giving a wolfish lopsided grin. "If you don't want to bring home any pups use protection." Mia groaned internally, ""mom" she wined, every wolf can hear you." With that Chris bounded on her right shoulder, "yeah we don't want any mini Mias running around yet," his wolf giving a gruff laughter like sound. "Hey!" he yelped. As Mia sunk her teeth into his shoulder playfully. "Payback bitch!" Mia's mom just glared as much as a wolf can. "We're almost there," her dad said. Mia looked up to see the line that cuts off her connection to her pack. Was she excited? Yes. This would be the first time away from her home alone. As she neared it she could hear hoots, and howls of her fellow wolves cheering her along. She sped up passing her mother, her dad, her brother, and her best friend.

Into the unknown
What awaits she was sure she could handle it.
"I'll be back soon," she said to no one.

OMG little Mia has set off all alone and boy do she have a journey ahead of her she's tough enough she said so herself
