It's official...

Troy's catching feelings for the redhead. The beautiful, forest green-eyed spy. Natalia Romanov which he learnt was her name just moments ago.

"Julianova?" Troy guessed.

"Nope." Natasha chuckled making Troy sigh.

Troy has been trying to guess her middle name which Natasha told him she had but wouldn't tell him what it. Why she hasn't just telling him is completely absurd. But he likes playing games to he'll keep playing guess the middle name.

"Yelenova?" Natasha snorted, quickly covering her mouth as she shakes her head no, making Troy burst out laughing, keeping his eyes on the road as he drove. "Wow, superspy, ex-assassin just snorted." Troy teased causing Natasha to playfully nudge him as she had her feet on the dash before his eyes widened as the song on the old classic car radio started playing, "This..this is my jam." Troy turned the radio up as Hey Ya! by OutKast started playing. Needless to say, Troy jammed out to the entire song until he glanced to his side to see Natasha giving him a weird but humorous look.

"What?" Troy asked, completely stopping his dancing.

Natasha just smirked at him, "Nothing" She shrugged, the smirk still on her face.

-

It wasn't long before Troy had parked the car and was now walking up to Coney Island which Natasha had given him directions to. One of many places he needs to visit in New York and one that Natasha had so kindly visited with him. His excitement must have been very obvious to the spy next to him by the look on her face every time she would look at him.

"So," Troy began, "Let's make a bet."

"And what would that be?" Natasha asked, glancing at Troy as they walked through the entrance.

"Shooting gallery," Troy answered, "If I win, you have to go on the Cyclone whilst shouting 'I am the Black Widow and nothing can defeat me."

Natasha groaned but nodded along, "And if I win, you have to show off your dance moves in front of everyone."

This time it was Troy's turn to groan, "I knew I should have never danced in the car."

Natasha smirked before sticking out her hand, "Deal?"

"Deal." Troy said, shaking her hand, "With all due respect, you are going down superspy."

"I don't think so, soldier."

-

Turns out, Troy still never misses a shot....and Natasha's a sore loser. So now Troy was laughing as he near enough dragged Natasha to the Cyclone as she kept grumbling about how she should have remembered a Troy saying he never missed during the battle of New York....and how she needs more practice.

"You're a spy, you'll be fine," Troy stated in an attempt to ease her mind.

"This is another level of embarrassment," Natasha said, letting out a sigh of defeat.

-

When they both get seated on the ride, all the lights in the park had been turned on. Explosions of colourful, flashing lights illuminated the park like the sun. Two workers went to each side of the ride, pushing down on the safety bars and checking to make sure they were strapped in, doing the same with other people on the ride. Once the workers were done, they walked to the side with thumbs up in the air. And not a second later, they shot off on the ride.

"Shout what you have to shout Nat!" Troy called out to the redhead next to him over the wind the ride had created.

"I don't want to!" Natasha shouted back.

"You lost the bet!" Troy argued.

"Fine!" Natasha said and then as loudly as she could she shouted over and over again, "I am the Black Widow and nothing can defeat me!!"

Safe to say, Troy nearly peed himself as he belly laughed as they tossed and turned with each corner and hill. Soon enough, the ride brought them back to the beginning, bringing an end to the short time of adrenaline and Natasha's embarrassment. The safety bars had been brought up and Natasha couldn't be faster to snatch Troy's baseball cap off his head and put it on hers to hide her face as she quickly stepped off the ride and down the steps with Troy following behind her, still laughing but it had turned to small chuckles when the redhead turned to him and gave him a glare that could kill a person by itself.

"That. Was. Hilarious." Troy continued to chuckle.

"I'll be laughing when I kill you discreetly and hide your body." Natasha threatened. Troy instantly shut up making Natasha smirk.

-

The two continue walking amongst the people, looking around at everything before Natasha broke the comfortable silence.

"What got you to join the army?" Natasha questioned, "I know you said before that it was your childhood...I guess I just want to know a little more about you."

Troy knew that he would have to open up eventually and he knew he could do it with Natasha, "I don't know my dad," Troy started with a sigh, "My mom would tell me stories, facts about him, how he was a soldier in the army before he was KIA on a deployment he was sent on just after I was born."

"I'm sorry." Natasha gave him sympathy but Troy only shook his head.

"Don't be...He couldn't be with me but he taught me a lot just by my mom's stories. And then through Highschool, I would get bullied for not having a dad...and then my mom got ill, she was diagnosed with cancer, passed away just after graduating from army training." Troy's eyes watered, "And she always taught me to do what was right, or push myself to be the best person I could be." Troy chuckled, "We would go to church together every Sunday, afterwards we would have a barbecue for people in the neighbourhood but if they didn't say grace before eating then they couldn't eat. I miss her every day but the things I do, the way I see people, see the world, is because of what my mom taught me and what I learned from my dad." Troy finished before looking at Natasha who hadn't moved away from her eyes from looking at him the whole time he explained.

"They taught you to be a great man because I can see it in you."

"Thanks, Nat." Troy smiled as he wipes his eyes before Natasha's phone rang.

She took the phone out of her pocket and looked at the caller I.D before answering, "Clint."

Troy couldn't hear what was being said on the other side but Natasha smiled, like actually smiled. No smirks or slight smiles that didn't reach her face, actually smiled.

"I'm with Troy." This piqued Troy's interest as he looked at her, "Yeah, I'll ask him." Another beat of Clint talking, "Are you sure." Clint talked again, "Alright, I'll ask him then I'll message you. Bye." Natasha hung up the phone and slid it back into her jacket pocket as she looked at Troy who raised his eyebrows.

"Clint asked if you wanted to come with me to see his family," Natasha said straightforwardly.

"Clint has a family?" Troy asked, eyebrows still raised.

Natasha nods, "Yeah, wife and two kids."

"Is he sure about this? Being a SHIELD agent means to hide that information." Troy questions further.

"Well, he must trust you since he asked me to ask you," Natasha informs him.

Troy thought for a moment before nodding, "Alright. I don't start working for SHIELD until next week."

"We'll take a SHIELD jet."

Troy nods as they both start towards the exit of Coney Island and to his car so he could go to his apartment and pack a bag and so Natasha could do the same as she lived in the same complex as him before Natasha would drive them to SHIELD H.Q to get use a jet.

Clint's family here they come.
