Troy and Steve jogged aside each other through sections and staircases of the Helicarrier they were currently on when they slowed to a stop as the Winter Soldier stood on the other side, in front of the machine they had to put the chip in as he stared coldly with no traces of the Bucky that Steve knew in his eyes. Completely emotionless.

"People are gonna die, Buck. I can't let that happen." Steve pleaded with him but Troy knew with how Bucky only kept staring the two of them down, that they were going to have to fight, "Please don't make me do this." Steve pleaded one last time before he knew Bucky won't back down and Steve nodded for Troy to get ready to try and put the clip that he had in his pocket, into where it had to go. That meant he had put his guns away and would fight Bucky hand to hand. Stupid decision but a decision he made nonetheless.

Troy shortly nodded back as Steve threw his shield at Bucky, who caught it and threw it back which just as much force, maybe more. Troy joined, although knowing he didn't have the super serum the two soldiers had, he had a hell of a lot of courage that could be just as strong as using any sort of strength. Troy went hand to hand with Bucky and surprised himself as he was able to keep up with Bucky before Bucky quickly pulled out two guns and shot at Steve who was behind Troy before grabbing Troy by his bulletproof vest as he tried getting to the machine to put the chip in and throwing him across the room. Troy landing with a grunt but thanks the heavens that he wasn't shot and comes to the conclusion that at least a little bit of Bucky must still be in the Winter Soldier.

Troy watched as Steve pushed Bucky with his shield, making the other flyback slightly before he got up with the chip still in hand but now safely secured in his pocket and came to stand next to Steve as Bucky pulled out a knife.

"Oh, come on! I could shoot you but I'm being nice-" Troy didn't get to finish his rant as Bucky attacked him, trying to slice him but thanks to Troy's reflexes, he was able to dodge and grab Bucky's metal arm before punching him quickly in the face and Steve joined, kicking him, making Bucky stumble back and stop the attack on Troy as he let go and Steve raced to the machine, typing in the code they had to type before having to put the chip in but in that time Bucky and one-upped Troy and gotten a good few punches on him, making him kneel over with blood now running from his nose and a black eye most definitely forming. 

But Steve came back just in time before Bucky could throw another punch and blocked it with his shield. With the small amount of space, it was difficult to fight but Troy took a breath and wiped his nose clean from the blood, although it didn't stop it from running free again before joining Steve who kicked Bucky once again, who was knife happy as he continuously tried to stab him. Troy ran and grabbed Bucky by the metal arm and knew it won't last long before Bucky throws him across the room again. Steve took the opportunity to knock the knife out of his hand as Bucky.

The fight went on for another couple of minutes and in that time Bucky had been able to get the chip when Troy was trying to pass it over to Steve. So now Steve had Bucky in a headlock and his flash arm also secured on the floor as Troy was trying to open his metal hand which had the chip in.

"Drop it," Troy ordered as if Bucky would but he remained in a tight grip before Steve's grip on him tightened and snapped his arm Bucky eventually passed out and dropped the chip in the process and the two Avengers ran for it.

Steve ran to the machine as Troy stayed slightly behind watching Steve before Bucky gained his consciousness and shot at Steve making Troy go ahead and try and fight Bucky, who ad aimed his gun at him but Troy tacked him just before he could make the shot, Bucky losing his gun in the process. The two threw punches at each other, both wrestling on the ground. 

Troy only wanted to give Steve time to put the chip in before Bucky used his strength and rolled Troy over so now Bucky was on top of him so he could throw better punches at Troy before he looked back at Steve and quickly scrambled for his gun as Troy was trying to gain his bearing from the punches he just received. 

Bucky shot Steve twice before Troy heard Maria over his radio speaking to Steve before Steve decided to decide for the both of them. Troy took his time but he eventually grabbed hold of Bucky's foot as he hadn't moved much from the position he was in before dragging him so he couldn't go near Steve as he had locked in the chip.

Steve stood from his position on the floor after he received the bullet wounds before hearing two painful screams, his head snapping over to them. Bucky was pinned under one of the beams that had fallen from the ship exploding before he looked at Troy who was barely conscious as another piece of Helicarrier landed on his left arm. Steve had to make his choice on who to save first.

...and he did.

Steve ran quickly over to Troy and was just about to lift the heavy piece of Helicarrier from Troy's arm that more than likely had broken his arm and may have done more damage too.

But Troy shook his head as he heard Steve just above him, slightly seeing him through his blurred vision. He slowly shook his head and looked in the direction of Bucky who let out painful grunts, "Save Bucky. Leave me, go save Bucky."

Steve was flabbergasted at the request and was hesitant to do as he was told to do, but he obeyed, running over and lifting the beam of Bucky.

Troy could hear everything from then on, from Bucky pushing Steve who was close to him in the class as Bucky sent punch after punch to him and tried to persuade him, Bucky letting out shouts to shut up, as the ship continued to explode section by section.

That was before everything went silent as Steve spoke weakly, barely above a whisper, "Then finish it...cause I'm with you...to the end of the line"

Then the glass broke and Steve and Troy fell into the river below.

Troy lost consciousness, not knowing if he was going to make it out alive.

[A/N] So I know I changed Troy's outcome. I was doing a lot of thinking as I made notes of what I wanted to happen throughout the rest of the book and decided it was best to backtrack and only make so Troy's arm is broken or something. I'm sorry if that disappoints all but I had to do what I thought suit best with my ideas. 

I'm also sorry for not bringing another chapter out yet. I have a lot of work and personal business that needs my full attention so I have been dealing with those issues but don't worry, another chapter should be out soon.
