Now, I have been to our school's athletics carnival before, and I knew the route we take to get to the athletics oval, but this bust ride felt longer than it usually did, not to mention how a car nearly crashed into us and Spider-Man had to stop it before it hit us. The even weirder thing was that halfway through the bus ride, Peter disappeared. I don't know where he could have gone, there's nowhere else on the bus that he could have disappeared to. and then something even weirder than that happened, which I didn't think was possible, but here we are. Peter reappeared again! I don't know how he could have done it.

I looked at him as if I had seen a ghost, and clearly, he noticed. "Are you alright?" He asked, obviously confused.

"Wha-you were-but now your-huh?" The confusion in my voice defiantly showing.

"What?" He asked casually as if nothing had happened.

"Where did you go? Where did you come from? When did you come back? I'm so confused!"

"What do you mean? I've been here the whole time."

"No you haven't, you disappeared . . . when Spider-Man showed up."

"Wh-what do you mean?" He asked, starting to sound a lot more nervous, a terrified expression showing up on his face.

"I'm just kidding, I probably just hallucinated anyway. I'm guessing you were here the whole time, I mean, where could you have gone?"

"Haha, yeah."

After about 10 minutes, we arrived at the oval and get set up in our houses. The first event was the javelin. I, of course, can't throw so out of the 23 girls in our year level that came to the athletics, I came 17th. Though the long jump was next and I am pretty good at the jumpy sports, so I came within the top 5 for both of them. The next and last for the field events was the high jump. Normally with this sport, they get the oldest to go first and guess what, I'm the oldest (in my age group anyway). The first height wast that hard so I got over it pretty easily, though when I landed on the mat it felt as though something had bitten me. The mattress was red so I figured it would have been easy to spot a bug (if there was a bug), which I couldn't see, so I had nothing to worry about. I'm good at high jump if I do say so myself, which I am because I came first.

Time skip to end of day

When I got home I was exhausted. I don't know why because I never feel tired. Mum still wasn't home from work so I thought that I should take a quick nap. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I was out cold. I dreamt that I met the avengers, in an airport, and that they were fighting each other. I dreamt that Spider-Man had this cool new suit that fits him perfectly and isn't loose like the one that he has now, it's basically a literal jumper and leggings. There was also this gigantic man that grabbed War Machine as he was flying past. I knew I had an imagination but I didn't think it was this crazy.

I was awoken by the sound of keys in the door, which could only mean one thing.

"Y/n honey, I'm home," Mum called out from the kitchen. "how was the athletics carnival?"

"It was good, I cam first for the high jump . . . again. Hurdles I came second and long jump I came fourth for."

"That's good, I'm so proud of you." She said whilst giving me a tight hug. "How about we go out and celebrate?"

"Cool, where should we go."

"I don't know, you can decide since you did fantastic today."

"What about that Shalom Grill place?"

"Sounds good, I'll go get my coat and when we get home we can watch a movie and relax."
