A Survivor in Maple Tree{Rewrite}

My OC & OCs wanted

This is a rewrite of my other story. I decided to do a rewrite of it because I've decided to change somethings about the old version. Anyway here's my oc.

Name: Grant Sanders

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Nationality: American

Appearance: Grant has brown hair and hazel eyes and is often seen in his Highschool uniform irl but when he's at home in his apartment he wears a light colored shirt and either jogging pants or shorts depending on the weather.

Username: Kakōgan

Personality: Grant is known to be a happy go lucky person and is often just goofing around when not in class but he does has a serious side to him which mostly shows when doing school work. He also had been severely traumatized by his time in Sword Art Online and often tries to hide it by just laughing it off or avoiding the question by any means. He started playing VRMMOs again after meeting Sinon who told him about Gun Gale Online aka GGO and she was kind enough to teach him how to play and help him get his gear set up. He still has trouble with killing other players though.

Backstory: Grant had moved to Tokyo, Japan to live with his aunt and uncle before his first year of middle school after his parents died in a car accident. Grant felt like an outsider in his new environment and turned to video games to cope. When Sword Art Online was announced he did the beta test and enjoyed it a lot so when it when online for the first time ever he was one of the 10,000 people to log in but when the game turned into a death game he vowed to survive no matter what so when he finally got out of the game 2 years later he acted like those two years never happened after he was released from the hospital despite still going to his doctors appointments and going to the special classes for the SAO survivors. After the seed was distributed and several new games released he decided to give VRMMORPGs another try after a new friend named Asada Shino introduced him to a gun based game called Gun Gale Online. He became very close with Asada over this time and the two started dating. When New World Online was released Grant talked to Asada about giving the game a try with him to which she agreed.
