A Survivor in Maple Tree{Rewrite}

Chapter 1

{A/n: Hey everyone Roach here with a rewrite of one of my stories. I hope you guys enjoy it! DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT own Sword Art Online or Bofuri: I Don't Want to get Hurt so I'll Max Out my Defense!}

*New World Online*

Kakogan opened his eyes once he entered the game and saw a wonderful green village and was awestruck by how wonderful it looked. "It looks amazing right?" Sinon said as she stood next to him. "Yeah it does!" Kakogan replied and she smiled and nods. "I wasn't expecting there to be new players like me as well!" A new voice said and Sinon and Kakogan looked at the new voice to see a girl with  fair skin and shiny black hair that extends beneath her chin, with a short ahoge. Her eyes are a shade of cool grey. She was wearing starter equipment and was holding a great shield and short sword. "Oh hey there. I wasn't expecting someone else to be joining around the same time as us." Kakogan said and the girl chuckled softly and rubbed the back of her head nervously. "Yeah, same here." She said and Kakogan nodded. "So I'm Kakogan and this is my girlfriend Sinon. Who might you be?" Kakogan smiled at her. She smiled and nods. "It's nice to meet both of you. I'm Ka-*Cough, cough*I'm Maple!" She said and Kakogan smiled and nods. "I'm guessing this is your first time playing a VRMMO huh Maple?" Kakogan asked and she looked like at him surprised. "How did you know?" She asked him and Kakogan smiled. 

Kakogan chuckled softly. "Well you just seemed to be new to all this is all." Kakogan said and she nodded. "It's just that you seemed a little new to all this is all." Kakogan explained and she nodded. "Yeah I am. I started playing this game because my friend Sa-" She started saying but wass cut off by Sinon covering her mouth with her hand. "It's rude and not very smart to say people's real names in game Maple." Sinon said kindly to her and Maple nodded. "Oh right. Sorry." Maple replied and Sinon smiled and nodded. "It's alright. Just try to remember that." Sinon said and Maple smiled and nodded. "So what were you saying Maple?" Kakogan asked her and she looked at him. "Oh right. One of my friends talked me into giving this game a try." Maple said and they nod. "Well then will your friend be joining you as well Maple?" Sinon asked her and Maple shook her head. "Unfortunately no. Her Mom is making her take a break from games until she can get her grades up." Maple explained and they nodded. "Oh then how about we party up?" Kakogan suggested.

Maple tilted her head. "Party up?" She asked confused and Kakogan chuckled softly. "It's when two or more players join together to fight monsters or clear dungeons." Sinon explained and Maple nodded. "Oh I see. Is it alright for me to join you two since you two are a couple and all?" Maple asked and Sinon smiled. "I have no problem with you joining us." She replied and Kakogan smiled and nodded. "Me neither." He said and Maple smiled and nodded. "Well okay then." Maple said smiling and they nod. "Then for starters how about we friend each other?" Sinon said and Maple smiled and nodded. "Okay!" She said and the three of them friended each other. After that they started to explore the town but after discovering Maple barely has any agility it took them a little longer to explore then they expected as they had to walk at a slow speed to keep from leaving her behind. Then they asked a blonde haired girl who was wearing a white cloak for advice on where to do some XP grinding and then headed to the location she suggested.

Once they got to the forest Sinon and Kakogan started teaching Maple some basics and fighting a few monsters as well and after about half an hour the two decided to call it a night. "Well I'm getting tired so I'm calling it a night!" Kakogan said and Maple nods. "Okay. I hope we can play together again sometime." She said and he smiled back. "Definitely! I had a lot of fun!" Kakogan replied and she smiled more and Sinon stood closer to Maple. "I'm calling it a night to but if you have any questions or want to do some quests with some other people then let me know and I'll be more then happy to join you!" Sinon said and Maple smiled more. "Wow! Thanks! I really appreciate it!" Maple replied smiling and Sinon nodded. "No problem Maple! After all as a fellow girl gamer we got to look out for each other!" She said smiling and Maple smiled and nodded again and after the three finished saying goodnight to each other Sinon and Kakogan logged off the game while Maple decided to play the game for a bit longer.

*IRL*

Grant opened his eyes and saw his ceiling. He sat up while stretching slightly and took off his AmuSphere and set it on his night stand before picking up his phone to check the time. When he pushed the power button his phone lit up to reveal his wallpaper which was a picture of him and Asada together. He smiled to himself forgetting about the time as his mind wanders. I'm so happy I met Asada but is it to early for me to have moved on? I know it's been over 5 or so years since then but I still think about her! He thought to himself remembering the person who was very special to him when he was in SAO. He sighed softly before looking at the time to see it was currently 9:58 PM. He then unlocked his phone and went to his messages to text Asada. 'Night Asada. I love you. I'll see you tomorrow.' He typed before sending the message and then going to the bathroom to wash off his face. He then walked back to his room after drying off his face. He looked at his phone and saw that Asada texted him back before. 'Night Grant, Love you too!' He smiled after reading her reply before going to bed.
