A Survivor in Maple Tree{Rewrite}

Chapter 3

{A/n: Hey everyone Roach here with another chapter. I'm sorry for the delay in updates as I've been busy with work and other life stuff. DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT own Bofuri: I Don't Want to get Hurt so I'll Max out my Defense or Sword Art Online!}

*NWO Starting town*

Sinon was finished helping Asuna, Lisbeth, Silica, and Leafa in ALO and was now back in NWO to meet up with Kakogan but when she messaged him he never responded to her. She was starting to get worried about him when she noticed that Maple was online and sent her a message. 'Hey Maple. Have you seen Kakogan?' She asked her and Maple replied quite quickly. 'Hey Sinon. Yeah I saw him about an hour ago. Though I haven't seen him since he headed towards the Fire Dragon's Dungeon in the northeast.' Maple replied and Sinon went wide eyed when she read that message. 'Wait!? Are you telling me he went to challenge a dungeon by himself?' Sinon asked her. 'Uhhhh yes.' Maple replied and Sinon groaned and rubbed her temple. "Kakogan What have you gotten yourself into?" She muttered to herself. Maple then sent her directions to a store in the starting town along with a message. 'I'm here if you want to talk while we wait for him to get back.' Maple said to her and Sinon smiled slightly. 'Alright. I'm on my way.' Sinon replied to her and headed towards the shop.

*One Hour Earlier*

 Kakogan had just arrived at the dungeon where the fire dragon was said to be at and he looked at it. Hmm this seems to be the place! He thought to himself. "Well let's get this started!" He said smirking and pulled out his sword and headed into the dungeon. He entered the dungeon and as he entered the dungeon Kakogan encountered a few monsters but he was able to take care of them. After about 10 to 15 minutes he reached the boss room. Before he entered the boss room he pulled out a potion and used it to refill his life gauge since he took some damage earlier and he finally entered the room and was met with a large dragon that roared at him. "It's much larger then I expected it to be!" He said before jumping over it's tail which it swiped at him. He then charged it and started slashing it and he saw that it's health bar went down but it had some kind of regen skill so it's health bar was slowly refilling. Damn it! This is going to take a while! He thought to himself. He then continued to attack and slash the dragon. After about half an hour or more he got a message and he saw that it was from Sinon. "Sorry hun but I can't talk right now!" He said with a sad smile. 

Kakogan continued slashing the Dragon and Kakogan finally managed to land the killing blow and it disappeared into data and light. Kakogan looked at his sword and it was melted and badly damaged. "Welp this one is going to need to be replaced. Hopefully I got a new sword in that chest." He said looking at the chest that had appeared after the dragon vanished. I opened the chest and was given new gear and sword. He smirked and looked at the information of the coat first. It was called the Dragonling Coat and it reduces fire damage by 5%. Kakogan was surprised to see that this coat had an additional ability. "By putting EXP points into the coat it can be upgraded." He said reading the coat's info. He smirked and then looked at the sword. "Dragon's bane lvl 1. Has a 5% chance of inflicting fire damage to enemies. Can also be upgraded using EXP points!" He said smiling. "This gear set is amazing!" He said and then looked at the massive amount of EXP points he had stored up already. "Well might as well!" He said putting all of them into his coat and sword. By the time he finished his sword and coat were both fully evolved and leveled up. He looked at his coat's new stats now.

"Dragon King's Coat. Grant's the wearer complete immunity to fire damage and has a plus 40 buff to VIT, STR, and AGI. Though I'll need to get used to the red." He said smiling as he equipped it. Then he looked at his sword.

"Dragon's Bane lvl 10. It now has a 50% chance to inflict fire damage to enemies and gives a plus 10 buff to STR." He said smiling. After he finished dealing with his new gear he headed to the teleporter that took him to the starting town and stepped into it. Once he was teleported back to the starting town he remembered Sinon had messaged him so he opened. 'Hey Kakogan. I'm done with the thing I was helping the girls with. Where you at?' Her message said and he sighed. 'Sorry hun. I was fighting in a dungeon.' He replied to her and she replied instantly. 'I know. I'm at Iz's shop with Maple now.' Her message said and Kakogan sighed. He then headed to Iz's shop. Once he got there he walked into the room to see Iz, Maple, and Sinon all sitting around the counter drinking tea together.

 Sinon looked over at him. "Maple explained everything to me about the rare gear. I'm guessing this is it." She asked pointing to his new gear. "Yeah. It's called the Dragon King's Coat." He said as he walked over to her and she nodded and took a sip of her tea and gave him a cold stare. "You had me worried sick you know." Sinon said to him and he nodded. "I know. I'm very sorry Sinon. How can I make it up to you?" He asked her and she smirked. "You can take me to an expensive restaurant on a date and I'll forgive you." She said smiling and Kakogan sighed. "Well if that's what it takes then I'll make reservations." He said and Sinon smiled and nodded. "Good!" She said as Iz and Maple started giggling at the two. "Well it seems you two really love one another!" Iz said and Maple nodded in agreement as Sinon's face flushed red. "Yeah. I guess you can say that. I mean Sinon is really important to me." Kakogan said and Iz and Maple nodded. "Anyway Sinon how about we go do some shopping together?" He asked and Sinon smiled and nods. "Sure." She said getting up from her seat. She then looked at Iz and bowed slightly. "Thanks for the tea. I hope we can do this again sometime." Sinon said to Iz who smiled and nodded. "You're welcome Sinon. I had a lot of fun chatting with you and I'm glad to have another fellow female player to call a friend." Iz replied and Sinon smiled and nodded. "Me too." She said as she started to walk over to Kakogan. "See you later Maple." She said waving bye to her and Maple waved back. "Bye Sinon. Bye Kakogan." Maple said smiling. Kakogan smiled and waved back. "See you later Maple. Bye Iz." He said to the two girls and him and Sinon left the store together.
