A Survivor in Maple Tree{Rewrite}

Chapter 2

A few days later Kakogan was walking around the starting town of New World Online by himself as Asada had plans with Asuna, Lisbeth, Leafa, and Silica today and was currently playing ALO with them. Kakogan was humming softly as he walked around when he saw a familiar face. Isn't that Maple? Where'd she get that new gear? He thought to himself as he decided to walk over to her. "Hey there Maple. That armor looks really cool! Where'd you get it?" He asked her as he walked up to her. She looked at him and smiled. "OH Hey Kakogan." She said before going on to explain how she got the armor as a rare drop after clearing a dungeon solo on her first try. What kind of monster character did this girl make?!  He thought to himself. "I see. That sounds like a crazy story Maple!" He told her and she chuckled nervously while scratching the back of her head. Kakogan then cupped his chin. "Hmm getting rare items by conquering a dungeon solo and on the first try huh? That sounds interesting!" He said smirking. "Really?" Maple said tilting her head and Kakogan nodded. "Yeah, You wouldn't happen to know of any other dungeons in the area would you?" Kakogan asked her and she shook her head. "No I don't. Sorry." She said then it seemed like she remembered something. "Oh but I know someone who might know!" Maple said and Kakogan smiled and nodded. "Then lead the way!" Kakogan said and Maple smiled and nodded and she led him to a shop.

"So Kakogan where's Sinon at?" Maple asked as they walked. "She had plans with some of our friends in another game called Alfheim Online." Kakogan explained and Maple nodded. "Oh I see." Maple said as she led Kakogan to a shop that says Iz's shop on a sign. They walked into the shop a light blue haired woman with goggles on top of her head greeted them. "Hey Maple. Who's your friend?" She asked and Maple smiled. "Hey Iz. This is Kakogan. He's one of the first friends I made when I joined the game!" Maple explained and another guy wearing red armor walked out. "Oh so you're one of those newbies that I saw with Maple in the forest the other day!" He said and Kakogan nods. "Yeah. That's me." He replied and Maple smiled as him. "That's Kuromu! He's a great shielder like me and she's Iz a crafter who owns this store!" Maple said and Kakogan smiled and nods. "It's a pleasure to meet both of you." He replied and they both nodded. "Same to you." Kuromu said and Kakogan smiled and nodded. "So why are you guys here?" Iz asked while picking up a cup filled with juice or something. 

"Well I'm here wondering if you knew of any dungeons on this floor?" Kakogan asked and both Iz and Kuromu paled and looked at each other before looking at Kakogan. "You're not going going to try to conquer a dungeon alone are you?" Iz asked him and Kakogan smiled and chuckled softly. "I do actually but don't worry I'm not a newbie to games like Maple here." Kakogan said sending friend requests to the two of them so he can show them his stats. The two of them were a little confused before opening up his stats list he sent them. The three of them were left in shock at what they saw. Kakogan's Strength, Vitality, Intelligence, Dexterity, and Agility stat were either close to or over 30,000. His lowest stat which was Intelligence was about 28,362 while his highest stat which was Agility was 35,782. "Your stats are insane!?" Kuromu said in shock and Iz nodded in agreement. "Yeah but I guess seeing as how you converted into this game it makes sense your stats are so high!" Iz said and Kakogan raised an eyebrow as Maple tilted her head confused. "Converted?" Maple asked and Kuromu nodded. "Yeah. It's when a player wants to take a character they spent a lot of time getting to how they want it to a different game. Of course you lose all the gear and money you have unless you store it in a chest or with someone you trust." Kuromu explained and Maple nodded. "How did you know I converted though Iz?" Kakogan asked and Iz smiled. "It was the only logical conclusion as to why your stats were so high despite just starting the game." She replied and Kakogan nodded. "I see. That makes sense." He replied and then Iz closed the menu and crossed her arms.

"Well seeing as how you're not exactly low level and can handle yourself then I have no problem with you trying a dungeon by yourself." Iz said and walked over to the map hanging on the wall of her shop and Kakogan looked at it as well. "This is the Dungeon Maple went too. Care to give it a try?" Iz said as he looked at it. "Hmm actually I'd like to try a different one!" Kakogan said and she nodded. "Then how about this one? It's called the Fire King Dungeon! So far there's been only one party to be able to conquer it!" Iz explained and Kakogan smirked. "That one sounds like it'll be a great challenge!" He said and Iz nodded. "Alright. Just be careful!" She said and he nodded. After that Kakogan left and headed to the dungeon.
