Welcome back to another chapter of Return To Zero. With some new pieces on the board, different things can happen. Also, as I said, canon divergence is not happening for quite some time yet. Not until after at least season 3.
Disclaimer: I own nothing but my OCs and the eventual divergence in plot and the original chapters I'll be posting.
With that said, let's do this.
The next day, classes went by without a hitch. Lunch came by and Lenington entered the cafeteria with Lincoln and Haiku in tow. He noticed a certain hero serving students food."Hey Lincoln. That's Lunch Rush. Isn't Mr. Loud a huge fan of him?" he turned Lincoln's head to said hero."Oh yeah, you're right! I gotta get an autograph from him for Dad." Lincoln made a bee-line towards Lunch Rush but before he could follow it, Lenington stopped him."There's a line, you know. Lunch Rush isn't going anywhere." Lincoln sheepishly laughed at this and took his place in line, behind Haiku.
Finally, Lincoln's turn came."Uh, Mr. Lunch Rush, sir, can you please sign an autograph for my dad? He's a BIIIIG fan of you and has most of your cookbooks. And please write in English since he can't read Japanese." he requested as Lunch Rush gave him his lunch."Sure. What's his name?" he asks."Lynn Loud."
Lincoln gave Lunch Rush a stack of one-fourth paper sheets which the latter used the front page to write:
"Dear Lynn Loud, I met your son. I'll be keeping him fed for his time at U.A. Cheers to us fellow chefs."
He also wrote his signature on it before giving it back to Lincoln."Thank you, he's going to have the best next Father's Day." and he left and sat down with Haiku."This is it, Haiku. We'll have our first basic hero training after lunch. What do you think?" he asks the goth."I look forward to it. We'll surely succeed with flying colours. Lenington trained us well in more ways than one." she answered."Glad you think so but don't let anyone else hear you." said Lenington out of nowhere, startling the two.
Lunch ended and they were at their classroom, seated and waiting."I wonder who's going to be teaching us." asked Kirishima. Then all of the sudden, they heard a familiar boisterous laughter and everyone was on edge, not believing their ears."What!? No, you have to be kidding me." went Kaminari, incredulous. All Might's voice spoke with pause in between."I! AM!" it was very close and loud."COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!"screamed All Might when he came through the door like a weirdo, contrary to what he said. Many of them cheered regardless, others were silent at showing their joy, two looked in mild surprise while another was indifferent."I can't believe it's really him!" went Kaminari. Kirishima could barely contain his excitement as his eyes travelled over All Might's huge muscles with admiration (not THAT way, I assure you)."So? He's our teacher now! This year's going to be awesome!"
"Isn't that his Silver Age costume?" inquired Asui."That's SO retro!" commented Ojiro, a boy with a long tail. Lenington noticed Midoriya looking ready to burst and facepalmed.
All Might stood at the front of the class."Welcome to the most important class in U.A High! I like to call it 'How to Hero for Pros'. Yes, I intended to omit some grammar for that. Anyway, here is where you learn the basics of being and fighting in the name of GOOD! Let's get to it! We're going balls to the walls right off the bat!" All Might pulled out a card with the word 'Battle' in red."Fight training!" exclaimed a very pumped up and excited Bakugo."Finally, I get to crush some noobs!" Lenington punched his palm.
All Might decides to put more petrol in to the fire that is most of Class 1-A's eagerness."But one of the most important to being a hero..." he paused before pointing to a section of the wall which slid out numbered boxes."...is looking good." he finished with a suave tone and a thumbs up."Costumes!" cheered the class."That's right! Your costumes were based off of your quirk registration forms and the request you sent before school started."Now, wear your future public skins and head to training ground Beta."
