Welcome everybody to another chapter of Return To Zero. THAT'S RIGHT GUYS, WE'RE BACK and guess what? We're finally moving on to the first event. After that, be ready for a surprise. You should also be ready for a few surprises in this chapter as I have added a bunch of OCs that will come into play in the future. I can't tell when so you're just going to have to wait and see. Without further ado, let's do this.

American P.O.V (when this is announced, the English dialogues will not be bolded but the Japanese ones will be)

It was getting late at night in America while the UA Sports Festival is happening, particularly nearing 10 PM on the dot. Back at the Loud House, we see the numerous family members scrambling to get ready to watch the first event."Lynn, get the doritos!" screamed Lana who was taking cups to the living area."I already got my hands full with Luan's banana cake and Dad's pasta! Luan, go do it!"

"Can't! I'm hauling our bags of beans down! Ahahahaha! Get it?" Luan laughed at her own terrible pun as she brings bean bags and settled them on the couch."Speaking of get it, who's getting Lisa's translators?"

"I got it, kids!" said their grandfather, Albert."Woah, careful where you step!" warned their father, Lynn Senior, as his foot nearly got stepped on By Lori who apologized to him."Not to worry, my siblings! My bag o' arms has just finished charging!" Lisa ran out of her room with a backpack and helped bring things to the living room with long mechanical arms coming out of her backpack. Luckily, they were able to finish their preparation with half a minute to spare for the speech. Each of wore a pair of air-pod-looking things, presumably Lisa's translators.

"What kind of student pledge was that?" asked Lola at what she considers a bland speech."That girl has no womanly grace. It's as Lexxianna never turned into a girl." Lori rolled her eyes as she said that."I bet five dollars she molded metal into a bra and wore it." Lynn Junior chuckled at that.

A little earlier, at a certain city in a certain apartment, a family of similar size also prepared to watch the sports festival.

In a dark and secluded room filled with life support equipments, a man hooked to said equipments grinned."I wonder how far you've come along with your training, my son. I do hope you know what you're doing."

The first event has been announced to be a race."A race? Why a race?" asked Luna."Probably to weed out the weak. Speed is very important in the hero business to respond faster and save people faster. Of course, they'll need some strength as well if they were to fight some criminals and villains." answered Albert."What's the difference between criminals and villains anyway? They're both bad guys so why make it more complicated?" asked Lily."I guess the criminals are the dudes that are not a big enough threat to be considered a villain."

"Shhhh! The race is about to-" "Begin!" announced Midnight and the participanting students immediately moved forward as fast as they can into a narrow corridor.

Japanese P.O.V (and now I'm writing English dialogues in bold and Japanese lines normally. Keep it in mind.)

"And we're off to a racing start! How about a little colorful commentary, my dear co-host?" Present Mic patted said co-host, Aizawa, on the shoulder. The latter look like he didn't want to be here."How did you talk me into this?" he said tiredly."What should we be keeping an eye out for in the earlier stages?" asked Present Mic with zeal equal to Aizawa's exhaustion.

"The doorway."

Everyone got stuck and started pushing each other to get ahead of the others with the exception of Gamma, Lexxianna, Lincoln and Haiku who flew above the rest in their own ways. Gamma flew Iron Man style, Lexxianna flew with the power of winds, Lincoln flew by turning his legs into twisters, Taz style and Haiku flew by clinging onto the ceiling with numerous tendrils of darkness and using them as legs. There was the octopus-headed boy who grew bird wings, a boy with unkempt blonde hair and springs for legs bouncing on the walls to go forward, a girl covered in blinding and intangible light flashing several steps forward every few seconds, a pure black boy who was riding on a giant dark hummingbird and a green-haired boy floating forward on a glass pane.
