What is up, everybody, and welcome to another chapter of Return To Zero. THAT'S RIGHT GUYS, WE'RE BACK and guess what? A mess, if I say so myself, but a necessary mess. Read on!

The day school resumes has arrived. Class 1-A was chatting with each other as Aizawa hasn't arrived yet. He's nearly at the classroom, though."Attention, everyone! Homeroom class is starting so take your seats!" yelled Iida as he barges into the classroom.

"Uh, we're all sitting already." noted Kirishima."Yeah, you're the only one standing."

Iida was embarrassed as he lets out a quiet 'dang it!' as he takes his seat. Everyone continued their chatter until Aizawa arrived, looking ready to fall over asleep more than usual."Aizawa-sensei, you alright?" asked Lexxianna, not sure if this is normal for the usually tired teacher."Recovery Girl went overboard with my last treatment. But that's irrelevant. What's relevant is that your fight isn't over yet."

Some were confused while others suspected and expected the worst."The UA Sports Festival is about to start." continued Aizawa after waiting a short while. Kirishima cheered while Lexxianna yawned."Maaan, I hope there's at least a free for all." drawled the latter as she slouches on her seat then sits up properly."But sensei, is it really wise to hold the sports festival so soon after the villains attacked us?" questioned Jiro.

"What if the villains attack again and they are more prepared for the stronger students?!" asked Ojiro.

Aizawa raised a hand to quiet them down so he can explain more."Apparently, the administration thinks that is a good idea to show that the threat has been handled swimmingly and our school is very capable of handling crisis like this. Plus, they're increasing the security more than they've ever had in the past years. Besides, this event is a huge opportunity for not just the Hero course but for the ENTIRE student body of UA. We can't just cancel it over a few villains."

"Why not?! It's just a sports festival!" asked Mineta incredulously."I'm confused too. Only I have a quirk in my family so we never seen anything about this. Heck, we never even heard of a sports festival." said Lincoln which speaks for Haiku as well.

"Eh, all I know about sports festivals is that it's a series of sports which is from what I can discern from the words itself. I'm not interested easy peesy sports." said Lexxianna."Wait Mineta, don't you know how important this competition is?!" Kaminari asks, dumbfounded."Of course I do! I just do want to get nearly murdered again."

"Lexxianna is partially right. It is a series of competitions that essentially. Our sports festival is one of the most watched events in the entire world, essentially replacing the Olympic games."

'So that's why Lynn looks a little sad every time she talks about her dream of becoming the greatest athlete in the world. People care more about the quirked tournaments rather than the mundane quirkless ones.' thought Lincoln to himself a little glumly.

"That's right. And top heroes everywhere will be watching to scout for potential sidekicks and interns, us!" added Momo."She's right. It's easier for a lot of people to join pro hero agencies." agreed Ojiro.

"Yeah but from what I heard, that's sadly as far as some people go. They miss their chance to go solo and stay as cronies even though they are much better than their employers." retorted Lexxianna."Hey, kinda like Kaminari! He's on the lower spectrum of IQ." said Gamma innocently, bruising Kaminari's pride.

"You should also consider the fact that joining a famous hero agency can garner you greater experience and popularity. That's why the event matters so much. It essentially opens a path for your career to flourish. You have a chance every year and three chances in a lifetime which is why no aspiring hero with half a brain can miss this festival. That means you better not slack of with your training." Aizawa got a nearly unanimous 'Yes sir!'.
