Zombie Apocalypse (Naveen Polishetty x reader)

Survival of the fittest . The wording you always came across in your zoology book . You understood that wording more clearly now as you are experiencing that right now . You , Sushant and Naveen sat huddled together in the abandoned school all alone as you heard sounds of the dead all over the town . Sushant crawled over to the window to take a look at the situation going on below . " How many days will we stay here we don't have a lot of supplies here . We cannot stay like this " Naveen spoke quietly but in a fast manner . Sushant just shrugged and sat beside me . " What  ? Why are you shrugging i asked a genuine question you idiot and i don't wanna turn into a walking dead " " Naveen stop we are not gonna turn into one . We should first try to move out of here and try to find the other survivors so that we can all discuss about how to get out of this situation together " " How will we find them ? First how are we gonna get out of this abandoned school when there are zombies outside ? " " We will find a way " You looked at both the boys who were discussing this with their serious face . You guys never knew these horrible things will happen . You were actually excited to be in a zombie apocalypse but it's not the time to show your love towards zombies. " Hey Naveen what about your friends ? What happened to Vijay , Rashmika , Preyadarshe did you ask them about this situation " Sushant asked " Call them right now ask them about the situation " you chimed in . Naveen tried to call them . He first tried rashmika's phone . No answer . Then he tried calling preyadarshe . Still no answer . He tried calling Vijay . The phone rung and he answered it . You three heard some distortion over the phone and you heard anand's voice.  Vijay's brother . " Naveen is that you ? You survived ? We all are in a group here. How many are there with you ? We tried to help the people who survived and we have 3 groups of people who survived " " Yeah we survived . Me , Sushant and (y/n) we don't know what to do now we are soon gonna run out of supplies " " Listen Naveen you three somehow make it out and come over to vijay's house we have full supplies here and we will plan to do something from here " " ok we will try that " and he inserted his phone into his pocket . " Guys we have to make it to Vijay's house "
What I am not coming to his house?" You chimed in. "It's not the time to argue (y/n)" Naveen looked at you." Naveen you know everything that happened you still want me to come to his house" "(Y/n) you have me you have Sush do you think we will let anything happen to you" "Ok I trust you guys but you have to stay by my side " "My pleasure" Naveen smiled at you. Sushant came to Naveen's side "What happened?" "Vijay was once (y/n)'s friend but all he did was blackmail her and abuse her he never treated her right so she is always afraid to even go anywhere near him" "Well she doesn't have to be afraid when she has two awesome friends like us" "Right" Sush and Naveen high-fived each other while you were looking at the mess happening below. "Are you ready ?" Sushant came beside you and held out his hand . You put your hand in his and gave him an assuring nod. "Ok guys let's move" "Wait" Sush broke a Chair's leg as if he does it everyday. He broke a table's leg too. He gave us that and took one for himself to defend themselves from zombies on their way to their next destination. Naveen pushed the door open . You were stuck in-between Naveen and Sush. You three were looking at all sides and were trying to stay cautious. Just then you saw a zombie approaching you. Before you could react Sush beat the zombie and you guys were now running madly away from the zombie so you could get to a safer place. You guys moved cautiously. Sush's car was just outside parked in a safe place. Sushant fiddled his pocket and got the car key and you three reached his car without any zombies following you. As you and Naveen sat in the back seat Sushant started the car. As the car came to life Sushant picked a ferocious speed. He asked for the directions to Naveen. Naveen spoke out in a quick manner. Sushant followed it and you guys reached your destination so fast than you guys expected. All thanks to sushant's driving skills. You got down and you froze . Naveen pulled your hand and assured you its all going to be fine. Naveen had to hold your hand to make sure you were doing ok. You saw Vijay come up to you "Ah who we have here hope you are doing fine" "Without you she is doing like a queen" Naveen replied to Vijay. "Who are you ? Her bodyguard or something?" "I am her king" You stared at Naveen with wide eyes. Naveen just smirked at Vijay and wrapped his arm around your shoulder. Sushant came up to you guys " What you guys are a couple now?" Naveen looked at you . " Of course" you answered . Sushant grinned " Well atleast my ship didn't drown" . Naveen smiled at him. "So guys hope you are fine" Anand came up to you , Naveen and Sush. " We are doing very well Anand thanks for all the help" "It's no biggie it's just I can't believe the things happening here " "Same " Naveen said. "(Y/n) how are you ? I hope you will speak to me?" You laughed . "Of course Anand after all you didn't do anything. It was all his fault" your head dropped . Naveen put his forefinger under your chin and tilted your head up "Don't let your crown fall queen" and he did his signature smile. All you could feel was butterflies . "Thanks king" He didn't say anything but just kissed you on your forehead and rubbed your back for assurance .
