You placed the cake on the table as you waited for Naveen to come. It was his birthday and as a good friend of his you wanted to surprise him. You also wanted to let him know about your feelings for him today. You patiently waited as you saw Naveen walk in through the door looking confused. His eyes fell on you and his expression turned into a mad one "(Y/n)? What are you doing here?" "Naveen... " "(Y/n) how many times have I told you I don't like people over at my house unless I actually call them over" "Naveen listen to me" "You can't even listen to what I say then what kind of a friend are you" Naveen raised his voice at you . You sobbed softly as he continued to scold you for entering into his house without his permission "Naveen I'm sorry I didn't know it would hurt you to this level I just wanted to surprise you with a cake for your birthday and say something to you that's really important" "Stop it get out right now" "What?" Your voice trembled as you looked at him "Get out" "Naveen please" He just looked at you with a frown and pointed to the door "I said get out (Y/n)" He grabbed you by the wrist and walked you out to the door "Naveen ahh you're hurting me please" Naveen released his grip and pushed you out of the door "I don't want a friend who doesn't even listen to the small things I tell them don't ever come back" "Naveen I'm sor-" He closed the door on your face. You started to cry as you stood infront of his door. You didn't wanna leave too you just loved him a lot. You wanted him to accept your apology so badly so I just stood there till he came out again. You jumped as you heard the sound of a thunder . You looked up at the sky. It was about to rain but you didn't wanna leave . All you wanted was Naveen to accept you back. The rain started to drizzle then it got heavier. You just stood there crying as the rain drenched you. You sat down on the ground and wrapped your arms around yourself as you shivered. You felt sleepy and your eyes closed gently. You were about to fall down without support as someone held you before you could fall down to the ground. You jerked a little and you were still shivering because of your wet clothes. You looked up at Naveen who was looking at you with sorry eyes. "Naveen I'm sorry" Naveen picked you up in his arms. You sneezed making him look at you "(Y/n) why didn't you go back home?" He placed you gently on the couch. He got a dry towel and wiped away the water from your face, hands and feet. "I'm sorry Naveen" Naveen sat beside you as he sighed softly and continued to wipe the wetness away from your hair "It's okay I shouldn't have been so hard on you I shouldn't have been hard on someone who just wanted my day to be perfect sorry for doing that sorry for hurting you badly " "You read the letter?" "Yes I did thanks (Y/n)" "You're welcome" You smiled through the tears "And by the way what did you want to tell me you said that it was important" "That is... " You looked into his eyes. He removed the towel from your head and waited patiently for you to continue . You held his hand "Anything can happen after I say this to you Naveen but what if it turns out to be a good response from your side that's the only reason I am telling you this" "What's that?" "Come on (Y/n) a friend would've already left the place after I just shouted so much at them. They'd give some time for the person's anger to come down but you stayed here you were afraid you'll lose me" He placed his hand on your cheek. The warmth of his hand spread across your face. He wiped your tears away "I knew at this point you loved me" "I do" You smiled at him . He pulled you into his chest "I'm really sorry (Y/n) I shouldn't have done this to you and I love you so much more" He kissed you on the forehead. You sneezed again and looked at him "I'm sorry" "Fuck what kind of a man am I" He looked at you "I'm really sorry (Y/n) a million times sorry I'll take care of you okay" He smiled and kissed you on the cheek "Wait here" You picked up the towel and dried your hair with it. Naveen came back with a t-shirt of his "What's this?" "I don't have anything you can wear sorry but change into one of my t-shirts or else your cold will get worse I don't want you to be in wet clothes" You looked at him "Don't worry I'm sure it won't be short since you're shorter than me" You chuckled and got it from him "Okay I'll go change" You changed into his t-shirt . He was right the t-shirt ended right before your knee and it wasn't that short as you expected it to be. "Here" Naveen gave you a plate of the cake you bought for him . You and him sat on the couch and he played a movie. You moved closer to him as you ate the cake. You fed him some "Sorry again" "It's okay since you accepted my love I forgive you" He giggled and kissed you on the head "How can I turn down such a sweet girl?"You placed the plate down on the table gently. You smiled at him and wrapped your arms around his torso.
