The Love letters (Agent Athreya x reader)

       "Mam is anyone home?" You walked out to see a post man. "This is for you" He handed you a letter. "Thank you" You smiled at him and looked at the letter. "There is no from address?" You sat on the couch and opened the letter.

Dear (Y/n) ,

         You are the only key to my heart. I have the purest form of love for you. Everytime I look at you my heart leaps up with joy.

     You placed the letter down. "Hmmm... A secret admirer?"
The next day you got another letter.

Dear (Y/n),

          Do you know that you are the only one who brightens up my life? You are like the lost puzzle piece in my life. I admire and respect you a lot. I love you.

   You smiled. You received a letter everyday. Every single time you felt down or you felt insecure about yourself the letter helped you to see more of yourself. "I have to find him"

   "Everyday?" Your friend looked at you "Yes but I don't know who is sending me this" "Hey (y/n) look" Your friend had a flier in hand "Athreya detective agency?" "Maybe he can help you" "You think so" "Try it"

   "Excuse me" You stepped into the agency . Athreya turned and stared at you. "Uh... Come in we are about to close but it's okay " "Maybe I can come tomorrow" "No no come in" He looked at the girl beside him "Sneha you can go to your home I will take care " "Okay agent" She nodded and walked past you. Athreya sat in his seat "Tell me" "I've been getting few letters in recent days" "What kind of letters?" "Love letters" "Oh fine... so what's the problem here?" "I want you to find who is sending me the letters" "Can I take a look at the letters?" "I don't have it now maybe do you have the time to come to my house I can show you those letters" "Sure let's go" You started your scooter as Athreya closed his agency and got into his car. He followed you to your house with his car.

   "Here" You handed him the letters "Hmm..." "So what do you think can you find him?" "Uh... Yea sure" He looked at you. "Hello" You waved your hand in front of him "Sorry I zoned out" "Fine I will come to your agency tomorrow" "Yeah okay"

The next day

      You reached the agency and went in. You saw that no one was there. You thought of waiting for Athreya to come back. You looked around as you came around a bunch of papers. You took a paper with Athreya's handwriting in it. "This handwriting.... " You picked out a love letter from your bag. You compared both of the handwriting "This looks perfectly similar" You were stunned at the similarity. You heard footsteps so you placed the papers and moved away "Hey (y/n) you are here" You smiled "Yea" "Sneha..." "I get it agent you continue" She giggled and left "She is always like this laughing for every single thing" Athreya looked over at you. "Seems like a fun partner to work with" You chuckled "So did you find the guy?" "No" "Oh but I found him" "Wow that fast" "It was easy I even have his number" Athreya looked at you with confusion filling his face. "Hey our detective wants to meet you so can you come over" You looked at Athreya who clearly had confusion painted on his face. "Umm... What are you gonna do now? I mean you found him" "Get to know him better and if I love him I will definitely get into a relationship with him" "Oh... " You waited for him to speak the truth "It's me" He said finally "Huh?" "It was me who sent the letters and not whoever you found out by yourself" "I know it was you and I lied to you I didn't call to anyone and I didn't find anyone" You laughed "How?" "The papers" You pointed over at his desk "Oh shit right the handwriting" You pulled his cheeks "Smart" You laughed. "Shall we talk this over a cup of coffee?" "Sure" You smiled at him.

   You got into his car. "Thanks" You turned to Athreya "For what?" Athreya had a questioning look on his face. "Your words, your letters they always made me feel better thanks for that" "You don't have to thank someone who has love for you" "Do you really mean every single word in your letter?" "Of course" You smiled and hugged him. You kissed him on his cheek. He started the car. You wrapped an arm around his. "Athreya" "Yes" "I love you" "I love you more" He giggled and kissed you on the head.
