As they continue working on this potion, the bickering gets more repetitive. Scarlett is trying her best but nothing seems to be working and it's pissing her off. He's so aggravating, difficult, and so arrogant. Scarlett just wants to clear the air with him and continue on with her classes and school activities. Something in her just wants to fix this. Needs to fix this.

Scarlett doesn't know why she needs to fix this. She just does. You know, like those gut feelings that you need to do something unless something will go horribly wrong. That's how she feels. And she hates that unpleasant feeling.

It's a rather odd feeling.

As Scarlett was walking down one of the long corridors she heard light footsteps behind her. When she looked back, she saw it was the one and only George Weasley. It seemed like he was trying to catch up to her.

"Amara!" the redhead yelled, speeding up to her. "Do you want to go to Hogsmeade on Saturday with me and the rest of the group?" The rest of the group means Fred, Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny, and Luna.

"Sure, of course!"

Scarlett was always somewhat close to the group. Scarlett was close to Harry at the beginning of their first year at Hogwarts, then started getting close to Hermione and Ron along the way.

She spent some time at the Burrow during summers and got close with the family. Molly always tells her to send her and Arthur owls from time to time.

George and Fred prank Scarlett from time to time and George gets a little flirty too. He would give her sly looks, winks, and complements during the day.

"See you then," he said with a not-so-smooth wink and Scarlett gave a smile before they went their separate ways for the day.

It was currently Friday so that means one more day before the end of Draco and Scarlett's Draught of Peace potion assignment was over.

Thank Merlin.

When she walked through the door everyone was already with their pairs. Celeste and Cho, Nadia and Pansy, and Scarlett and Draco. When Scarlett got to her partner he was flipping through the textbook looking for the page. "It's page four hundred ninety-three," Scarlett placed her bag on the ground to make room for the cauldron.

"I know,"

No snotty remark?

Strange...

This potion takes ninety minutes to make so they don't know why it took a week.

They got the remainder of the ingredients they needed such as a Valerian Root and started working.

Everyone around them was talking while Draco and Scarlett weren't even talking to each other, they just did what they had to do. Pour, stir, test. Scarlett kept the saying Luna said in the back of her mind throughout the week. Scarlett has tried everything she could to fix this but nothing is fucking working.

She hates not being able to fix this. She hates not being in control.

Don't even think about it.

As they continued to work, it felt like the class was forever. The clock was going as slow as it could. "Can you pass me that?" Asked Scarlett, waiting for some reaction to happen in the cauldron.

He ignored her and just stared at the page. Scarlett 'clears her throat' to pull him out of his trance, but that doesn't work for shit. "Draco!"

He finally looks up "No. Get it on your own, Amara". It's a simple task she asked him to do and he can't even do that. She gives him a cold look.
