"I saw the way you looked at her!" she wailed her arms in the air, then they hit her thighs. "I'm not blind, Draco!"

He winced. "I do not look at her, Parkinson! As I said to Blaise, you are hallucinating! I am with you! No one else! And I do not, so to speak, like her! She is nothing!"

They cast a quick silencing charm before entering the dorm room. Draco stood up when he saw Weasley and Amara hit each other's lips, Pansy noticed. Once they stepped foot in the dorm, she kissed him, then he felt a sudden burn on his cheek.

"Don't be daft, Draco! You're only with me because of our parents! It's not a secret! Our parents set us up now so then we aren't miserable when we are married!" That word caused Draco's breath to hitch and the world to stop turning. He was only eighteen. He's not ready for this so-called marriage?

Their parents have been setting this up for years.  Practically since the day, they were born. Two Pure-bloods carrying out the Pure-blood bloodline is what Lucius has always wanted and will always need. A desire. A weird one but it's a desire.

Wanting to carry out the Malfoy name and their riches.

Oh.

What a dream.

"Oh please, with the whole marriage, Pure-blood bullocks! I am with you because I like you!"

"But do you love me?"

Love?

What the bloody hell is love to them anyway? In first year, it would mean sharing the last piece of a Pumpkin Pasty or carrying the other persons' books to class. But what is it now? Arranged marriages or messing around in once clean sheets?

"Of course I love you!"

"Do you see a future with me?"

"Yes, I see a future with you."

"Is it happy? When you wake up in the morning and see me next to you instead of her or any other woman, are you amused by your sight?"

"Yes. Yes, I am."

He lied and she knew. She didn't care though. She was well aware of his unfamiliar feelings for Scarlett Amara. Were they really unfamiliar though?

He would never admit to it but he was always looking at her when she wasn't looking at him. Looking at her facial expressions as the professor spoke to her about assignments. The look on her face was so bright telling whether or not she passed or failed an exam.

He knew that when her eyes went wide she failed and when they would stay still she passed. When he would look at her it was so visible that somewhere in him he was there for her and her only. So when Blaise and Pansy only noticed it now, it shocked him.

It made Pansy enraged when she noticed him looking at her. With soft eyes and hearts floating above his head.

"Ok," and she kissed him yet again. Knowing that that kiss won't change anything but she might as well have it now while she can.

Or maybe she'll always have it.

~ Third Year ~

Her eyes were on the books.

Not at him or the people maneuvering around her, but the books. Her pupils were widened with, most likely, the wonders of what was stored in the books. He too wonders what lies in the green, purple, and black stack of papers with a hardened cover.

Her hazel eyes were poured into the books as if she just saw them for the first time. But she hadn't. She has read them three times in the past four weeks.
