As the weeks went on and the days started and ended quicker, the cold breezes started swooping in cooler, and the leaves went from a pretty green to a fresh orange; Scarlett has been getting closer to the tall redheaded twin.

He would look at her from afar and admire her beauty and she would do the same to him. They have been talking and laughing more frequently about the teachers or just at each other. He would put an arm around her as they walked, say a simple "Hi" and a wink when they would walk past each other in a flirty manner. Cheeks would be stained a pretty pink and feel warm.

Going Hogsmeade with their group almost every Saturday. Getting all bundled up and going out to get warm or cold Butterbeer, going to Honeydukes, or simply just hanging out in the Gryffindor Common Room after classes even though Ravenclaws aren't allowed sometimes.

Draco, Scarlett's arrogant and impolite Potions partner has been getting kinder (in a way). The snotty remarks have gone down by some and the names have soon disappeared. Scarlett found it unusual but isn't going to say anything to him about it so then the kindness can remain.

The thought of Pansy Parkinson and Draco was still stuck in her mind for some odd reason. Even though as the weeks go by and she's with her friends, particularly George, the scene was still there and it bothered her to shreds.

She would see them in the corridors, the library, and Hogsmead. Seeing them in the corner of her eye snogging or showing any affection made her revolted. Scarlett would look away and try her best to ignore it and focus on the tales George and Fred are talking about but she can hear the giggling and the kisses from across the room.

"Amara, get that," a sharp voice demanded. Scarlett quickly grabbed the ingredient from across the cauldron.

"Wouldn't hurt to say the word please you know. It's not that difficult," said Scarlett sarcastically.

"Can I please have that?" Draco reached over to snatch the item out of Scarlett's hand but she flung it back from his reach.

"It's May I please have that." Scarlett laughed, taking a quick step back. He rolled his eyes, shaking his head slightly.

"May I please have that?"

Scarlett gently gave the ingredient over to Draco, one hand barely skimming the other. Skin to skin. They touched for only a second yet Scarlett captured every bit of coldness from his hand. When she looked back down at their potion she felt almost as if Draco's eyes were burning into her. Him looking at her as she observed the smoking potion before them.

The tiny piece of skin touched made the spot sting with coldness.

As Scarlett was stirring the potion carefully, she realized she never talked to Draco about Pansy Parkinson. The thought was in her head all the time yet she's never said anything about it. Should she?

"You and Parkinson?"

Draco perked his head up at the sudden words. His brows furrowed and jaw clenched. "Why would you like to know?" His tone seemed aggravated but she only said three words out of pure curiosity.

Pansy Parkinson and Draco Malfoy have been dating for a long while now. If he was being completely honest it's just to please his prejudiced father. He is particularly close to the Parkinson family ever since they joined the Death Eaters when the Dark Lord first rose to power. They are both Pure-bloods so no wonder why they got along beside their great passion for the Dark Lord.

The Malfoys and Parkinsons have always wanted their eldest children to get together to keep the Pure-blood line strong.

"Pure curiosity, Malfoy," Scarlett said in defense. She knew Draco wouldn't open up to her especially in his own dating life would be ridiculous. He was somewhat pissed at her "curiosity" but he couldn't blame her when he was thinking the same thing.
