When Scarlett turned over the following morning she felt something was missing.

Someone is missing.

The dent in her bed hasn't risen yet so it hasn't been long since he left. When she reached over to her pillows his smell of cologne and mint was absorbed into it. When she smelt the scent a bit of warmness rushed over her. She imagined as if he was still there holding onto her as he rubbed her back whispering sweet nothings into her ear.

When the smell slowly faded away that was when she decided to get up. The warmth that filled her went away when she lifted her covers a gush of cold air came through brushing up her legs causing goosebumps. Scarlett has always dreaded the first day of school. She hasn't gotten her schedule yet so she doesn't know which classes she has with whom and then the edge feeling she has been having since she stepped through the Hogwarts doors wasn't making this any better.

She kept her hair down, put on her usual Ravenclaw robes, grabbed her bag, and she was out the door. When she made her way down she saw Nadia holding both of their schedules comparing the two.

"Ok so we have Potions, Herbology, and Muggle Studies together but that's it. And lucky for you I lived in the Muggle World for thirteen years of my life so I can help you," She stated giving Scarlett her schedule.

"I lived there for thirteen years too." Scarlett analyzed her schedule.

When they got to the Great Hall they sat down and started eating breakfast acting as if everything is going great in the world. Everyone was still on edge, everyone still looked terrified, everyone still was terrified and she didn't blame them. She was scared too. She was scared of a war, she was scared of death, blood, even life. Life of the people that are a part of the wrong side.

When she looked over to the Slytherin table and he wasn't there.

Scarlett frowned and fiddled with her eggs using her fork. She wasn't hungry and realized she could've loved that extra thirty minutes in bed. Maybe he would've stayed too.

Arithmancy went by and he wasn't there, so did Defense Against the Dark Arts, Herbology, Transfigurations, Charms, but he was there for the last class. Potions.

Scarlett stumbled into the classroom alongside Nadia and Hermione. "He finally decides to show up?" Nadia points out.

Scarlett looks at Nadia confused as ever but then it clicked when she saw him alongside Blaise grabbing books. They both looked miserable and when Blaises gaze lands on Roslyn he rolls his eyes and smiles and Draco looks over too.

"I don't think I have ever seen Draco Malfoy smile like an idiot like that before." Nadia laughs and Scarlett strides over to him. "Okay, I'll see you in the Common Room."

Blaise mutters something into Draco's ear and he only glances at Blaise with a face.

"You left this morning."

"There was something I had to take care of." Draco looks down at Scarlett, his lips close together in a straight line. "I'm a Prefect now so I have my own dorm."

Scarlett's face lit up in surprise and something in her falters too.

"Snape told me and had me trained the first part of the day."

Scarlett responds with an Okay and the teacher, Slughorn, walks in. "Okay, everyone stand over there." He points to beyond the table and everyone listens. Slughorn starts speaking of Potions when Harry and Ron come in, late, Hermione curses under her breath and Scarlett could hear even though she was far.

Everyone continues.

"Amortentia. One of the strongest love potions in the world. It supposedly smells of the person you are attracted to," Hermione speaks. "grass, toothpaste."
