WENDY

"Happy birthday to you!" They joyfully sang as I stared at the chocolate flavored cake in front of me. It's my 15th birthday. Ofcourse, the one who sang the loudest is Hang. Yes, he lived.

Regardless of what happened to his body, he still tries to be energetic as he can. He can't practice with his brothers but he still continues to cheer them up, and tease them also.

It's been a week after the incident. The Yao family died-even Mitch.

I felt happy for I finally achieved what I have always promised to my passed loved ones. But there was still a hint of guilt in my chest. I feel so sorry for Mitch, who unexpectedly became from enemy to friend.

I closed my eyes and made a wish. 'I wish for their happiness. Especially his.'
And finally, the candle was blown.

Were currently in the building's main hallway. Every curtain was down, every door was closed. No one wants to see a 'boy' idol wearing a pink dress and a clip on his hair. I don't want to wear it but after all, I also want to be a woman.

Everyone went to their own seats and ate their own food. I was about to do the same when a woman stepped in front of me. My mother.

"Happy birthday, Wendy."

I smiled for a bit. "Thanks, Mom."

I small tear formed in her eyes. Her expression is filled with happiness. "D-did you just say mom?"

I smiled wide this time and nodded. After that, I found my self in her embrace. It was just now, I realized how holding grudges results damage in my life. It manifests bitterness and malice. It turned me into someone I don't really wanted my self to be. The most important thing I could do is forgive.

"So, birthday mo pala ngayon." A teeny highy pitched voice came up after my mother went to assist my younger brother, not biologically but... Megan clapped her hands with sarcasm. "Congratulations. You're one year closer to your death"

"Oh, thanks. Congratulations to you too. You're two feet closer to the one who will show you hell." I smiled genuinely.

She smirked. "Let's see if you could still smile like that after my birthday surprise for you." she said and pointed her finger to Hang. "And after that big surprise, my lipstick will go over his lips."

I just furrowed my brows at her. She's gone terribly wild. I turned my back at her and went somewhere. It's my day, I should at least distance my self from maggots and enjoy this day.

Few hours went by and the party is nearly over. But before it ends, everyone gathered to finally sing me a happy birthday again.

"SHENGRI KUAILE"

And right after they sang, a loud bang on the door boomed. All the curtains rose, revealing the scenery outside the building, revealing a huge pack of people-all taking pictures of me, wearing my glorious dress.

And in a second, the crowd entered the place. Shouting, capturing pictures, throwing whatever things they can throw. They were all yelling at the same time but I can clearly hear what they want to say. I'm a deceiver.

"Wendy, go back to your dorm. I'll fix this." My grandfather told me with worry in his voice.

"No. I'll face them." I pleaded. As much as I wanted to escape, but we can't hide this forever. The world has to know.

I found myself in front of the people, answering the newscaster's questions.

"Isa ka bang bakla?" the newscaster asked and pointed the mic in front of my mouth.

I shooked my head. "No." He obviously doesn't believe my answer and looked at the things I'm wearing. His jaw dropped when I said; "im a girl."

And right after I said that, out of anger, the fans started to push each other until they get close to me. I can't blame them though.

I saw Megan standing in a corner with a smile plastered on her face. So, this is her surprise.

Before I receive more tomatoes to be thrown on my face, a figure went in front of me and blocked them. I could see Hang's back when I raised my head.

"Zuo Hang..."

"Pakiusap po. Wag nyo syang sasaktan"

The crowd silenced after hearing his request.

I thought everything was going to end but it went a lot worser. The yells went louder and louder. The building was full off chaos.

"Zuo Hang wag mo syang protektahan!"

"Tignan nyo! Kahit si Zuo Hang naloko na ng babaeng to! Manloloko ka talaga! Li Chen!"

"Flirt! Famewhore!"

The fans pushed each other again, until they went over. Hang started to feel dizzy and fainted, blood was shed in his clothes. His wound was opened.

"ZUO HANG!" Everyone shouted. Luckily I was behind his back, I was able to catch him.

"Enough!" I shouted as loud as I can, the noise slightly dissipated. "Please. We, trainees/ idols still deserve respect more than fame."
