"Hope, hi baby". Hope turned looking at Josie "Hey love, how are you?" Josie smiled as she walked over and kissed her "I'm fine baby, how are you?" Hope sighed picking up her books looking at Josie "Busy studying as usual". Josie sat next to her and picked up a book "Oh, history, how fun". Josie giggled as did Hope. "So, How about you take a break and come with me?" Hope stared as the brunette haired girl pouted "Okay fine, but only because I can't say no to you". Josie bounced up and down like a little kid as Hope got up and put her shoes on, "So where are we going?" Josie grabbed Hopes hand and dragged her out of her room "We are going for a walk to the lake, You love the lake". Hope smiled as she followed Josie "I do love the lake". Hope and Josie arrived at the lake And Hope saw a picnic all set up "Did you do this for me?" Josie nodded as she walked over and sat down "Yes, I did". Hope was quick to join her and sat down next to her. Josie began un packing the food, it was all Hopes favourite things. Hope and Josie sat talking and eating for a while, Once they had finished eating Josie packed everything away and laid down. Hope laid next to Josie just staring in her eyes "Thank you for everything you've done for me this afternoon". Josie smiled back as she tucked some hair behind Hopes ear "Anything for you Hope, I love you". Hope smiled back as she grabbed Josie's hand bringing it to her lips "I love you to Jo".

"Hope, I need to talk to you. It's Josie". Hope felt her heart sink as she got up and walked down to Alaric's office with him. Walking in she saw Lizzie sitting down in a chair opposite Alaric's desk. Hope walked over doing the same thing as Alaric stood behind his desk. "There's no easy way to tell you this, But erm.. Josie.. she.. she is dead". Hope felt her heart shatter at Alaric's words "No, No your lying, she's not dead, she's not dead, Tell me she's not dead". Alaric stood and shook his head "I'm sorry girls, I know its hard, she will be missed by so many". Hope stood up her eyes flashing gold the veins under them standing out "What happened, how did she die?" Alaric walked over to her "Calm down Hope, please". Hope pushed him away "What happened to her". Alaric frowned as he stood back up and spoke "It seems that Kai found her in town alone and took advantage of it, He fed off her and she didn't survive". Hope growled lowly "I'm going to tear him apart". Alaric walked over to Her, "Hope don't do anything rash, he will get what's coming to him". Hope left the office and headed up to her room, once she got there she began packing a bag of things yellow still on her outer vision. Hope had just finished packing her things when she heard a knock at the door. Hope turned around and saw a distraught Lizzie standing looking at her "Hope, are you okay?" Hope sighed shaking her head "No, I'm not okay". Lizzie walked in and pulled her into a hug, Hope felt more tears streaming down her face as Lizzie tried her hardest to console her. After a few minutes Hope pulled away and looked at Lizzie "It hurts Lizzie. Everyone I love dies, I can't take it, Josie was my everything". Lizzie looked at Hope with a serious face but with tears still falling from her eyes "Do you trust me" Hope nodded and looked at Lizzie. Lizzie stood up and put her hands on each side of Hope's face "I'm going to help your pain okay?" Hope just nodded she felt to broken to protest. Lizzie nodded "Okay, close your eyes". Hope nodded and closed her eyes as Lizzie chanted. After a few seconds she stopped and dropped her hands tears streaming down her face. Hope opened her eyes looking up at Lizzie, Lizzie? What's wrong why are you crying?"

Hope opened her eyes and looked at Josie, she now remembered everything. Hope pretty much jumped across the space between them as she locked her lips with Josie's, Hope felt Josie melt into the kiss as she held her. Hope finally pulled away tears streaming down her face "Jo, I never thought I would see you again. I thought you were dead, Your dad told me you were dead". Hope noticed the yellow seeping into her vision as she began growling "I'm going to kill him". Hope went to get up but Josie pulled her back "Hope, Hey look at me, Take deep breaths focus on me". Josie lifted Hope's hand and placed it on her chest "Feel my heart, you can feel it beating right". Hope noticed the yellow vanishing as she held tightly to Josie "You calmed me down. Its been ages since someone had been able to do that". Josie stroked her hands through Hope's hair "Baby, I remember everything about you, I remember what calms you, What angers you, What you like, what you dislike. I remember it all". Hope leaned into Josie's touch "I never thought I would see you again, I'm so happy your alive". Josie smiled at Hope "I'm happy you remember me". Hope leaned in kissing Josie sweetly "I've missed you Josette Saltzman". Josie kissed Hope back smiling as they placed their foreheads against each other "I  missed you to Hope Mikaelson". Hope and Josie sat taking their moment in when Penelope walked in "Jo, What's going on here?" Josie looked up at Penelope than back at Hope "Nothing Pen, don't worry". Josie gently pushed Hope off her lap and stood up. "What brings you in here anyway?" Penelope grinned as she whistled and soon Jade entered with some young girl throwing her to Josie "Here, I took the liberty of compelling you some dinner". Josie grinned as she moved the girls hair to one side and sunk her teeth into her neck. She then pulled away for a second when she heard Hope "You two girls need to leave". Josie turned to Hope "Erm, Hope, They are fine, leave it". She then turned back sinking her teeth into the girls neck again as Jade and Penelope watched grinning. Hope's eyes turned yellow as she growled lowly "Girls, I said leave". They both looked at Josie who sighed nodding and with that they left.
