Your not a monster

Josie turned looking at Hope "Hope what are you doing? You know that they only listen to me. Why did they even have to leave?" Hope walked forward taking the girl from Josie before biting into her wrist and healing her. She then compelled her into thinking she had been studying before telling her to return home. Josie watched as the girl left then looked at Hope annoyed "Hey, that was my lunch". Hope frowned looking at Josie "How do you do that? Not two moments ago you were crying and telling me you missed me and now your acting like you have no feelings". Josie sighed sitting down soon followed by Hope "Look Hope, when I first changed my uncle fed me some random person off the street. Once I had fed and looked at what I had done I felt remorseful. I had become a monster, by choice. I always thought I was a good person, but in that moment I know that wasn't me anymore. So I spoke to my uncle who explained to me about a way to turn all my feelings off. But when I refused he explained that there was another way to help ease my feelings. He explained it as sort of a dimmer switch, I could choose to feel good about things and I could choose to not care about things all while still having feelings. So that's what I did. I niether have or don't have humanity it's sort of in the middle".

Hope sat listening to Josie speak and could feel her heart breaking, If only Alaric would have let them see each other Hope could have trained her to be good and resist her bloodlust. She also could still have the girl she loved without losing out on 6 years with her. But hope was grateful as 6 years was nothing compared to an eternity she now planned to spend with the girl. Hope took Josie's hand as she spoke "Jo, you are not a monster, you are good and you are strong, no one could ever understand what you must have been through. But you have me now, you don't need to play the big bad boss anymore. You can just be Josie. My Josie, the girl who cared about everything and everyone. You don't have to pretend". Hope saw Josie smile slightly as she squeezed Hope's hand "Hope, I know we lost 6 years of our lives, and during that time we didn't know each other. I did things I could never forgive myself for and hurt people in ways that would make anyone sick. I'm not good anymore Hope, that died when I died, but I Love you and I know I can feel at least that much, surely thats enough for you?"

Hope frowned looking into Josie's eyes, once again she saw that same flash of guilt and sadness that she had seen in the forest a few days ago, Hope knew it was only a matter of time before Josie broke and the second she does Hope knew she would be there. Her Josie wasn't dead, she was just hiding deep within herself. Hope brought her hand up to Josie's face brushing some hair lightly out of her eyes "I'll stay by your side no matter what you do, I have lost you before, I won't loose you again". Josie smiled as she leaned in kissing Hope "Thank you babe, I won't loose you either". Hope smiled as Josie stood up calling out "Guys you can come back in now". After a short while everyone come walking in taking their seats doing exactly what they were told. Josie stood as they all looked at her as she spoke "Guys, I just wanted to tell you that I'm dating Hope, we've been together a long time but we lost contact, our minds had been blocked but we remember each other now so shes off limits for anyone, None of you are to harm her or try dating her, and if you spot anyone else attempting it then you hurt them or bring them to me got it?".  Everyone nodded as Josie smiled "Great, now I have a little mission. Who feels like a killing spree?" Hope looked At Josie frowning "Jo, no, don't hurt anyone". Josie looked at Hope almost apologetically before turning back to everyone "We are hitting the Salvatore school, the targets are my father and Lizzie. Lizzie is to be un harmed, As for my father I don't care what you do to him, as long as I have his body by the end of the night".

Everyone looked around then back at Josie "The Salvatore school is inpenitrable, they have a protection and not to forget its crawling with supernaturals". Josie grinned as she began pacing the floor "That's why I have a plan, I am going to make moonlight rings, they will allow the wolves here to shift at will, they will clear the vampires as for the Vampires, I will use magic to boost their strength and make them stronger then they already are. Penelope, I will get you to cast a cloaking spell on the wolves and vampires so they cannot be tracked inside the school by the other witches". Everyone nodded except Hope "This is a really bad idea Jo, don't do this, you will regret it if you do. I know your dad hurt me and you but you can't kill him". Josie looked at Hope grinning "But I can, I just have to go to his office". Hope sighed frustrated as she stood up "I want no part of this". Josie frowned a little but nodded "fine". Hope walked out of the room and out of the door, she didn't want to betray Josie now she had just got her back but she couldn't let Josie do this because If she did Josie would regret it for the rest of her life.

Hope reached the gates to the Salvatire school, putting in the code on the gate she walked in and headed straight tonAlarics office. Walking in she saw him sitting at his desk, walking over she grabbed him by the neck eyes gold "Your a liar". Hope could tell Alaric was struggling to breathe but she didn't care "You shouldn't have lied to me about Josie being alive. Now I'm angry and so is she, but unlike her I don't want you dead..  yet, so. I'm going to protect your sorry ass and you are going to explain exactly why you thought telling me she was dead was a good idea". Hope dropped Alaric to the floor before walking off. She needed to get ready for Josie's attack on the school.
