I feel nothing

Lizzie sat up "I'm fine, wheres Josie?" Hope felt tears building in her eyes as she shook her head "I don't know. She took off". Lizzie stood up offering her hand to hope helping her up to. "We need to go find her". Hope took Lizzie's hand and stood up, "I know where she lives". Lizzie looked at Hope angrily "Wait you've know where she's been this whole time?" Hope sighed at Lizzie "Its complicated Liz, I only know because her gang kidnapped me." Lizzie spoke once again "You were kidnapped?" Hope frowned a little "look Jo, it's complicated let's just go to Josies place and I'll explain everything". Lizzie nodded as she spoke once more "Wait, wheres my dad". Hope frowned "I don't know". Lizzie frowned as she began pacing, running her hands through her hair as she began rambling. Hope had seen this pattern of behaviour before, Lizzie was about to have an episode.

Hope walked over to Lizzie quickly "Hey, Hey, Lizzie, look at me. Look at me. Breathe in and out, come on copy me". Lizzie stood looking at Hope copying her breathing and after a while she felt a little better "Thank you Hope. Now we need to go and Find My dad and Josie". Hope nodded as they headed towards the Salvatore gates to get Alaric's car. Hope and Lizzie climbed in and Hope jump started it considering they didn't have the keys.

Hope drove all the way from the Salvatore school to the house she was now familiar with. Parking outside she walked up to the door knocking with Lizzie right behind her. They stood waiting for a minute when Jade answered the door blood dripping off her chin "Josie told you to stay away". Hope frowned as she answered "Please, just let me see her. I have her sister with me". Jade sighed before turning around and walking back into the house shouting over her shoulder "Come in". As soon as Hope walked in she was hit with the strong scent of blood. Hope however wasn't prepared for what she saw next. Turning into the front room Hope gasped and she heard Lizzie gasp to.

Josie was sitting on the sofa, blood dripping off her chin. There was two dead girls on the floor, another two on the chairs, Kaleb and MG each had a girl who they were currently feeding on And Jade was now sitting on Josie's lap. Hope watched in Horror along with Lizzie as Jade began kissing Josie before running her tongue across Josies lips humming "hmmm, this one tastes good". Josie smirked pushing the girl to Jade "Have at it baby girl". Jade grinned as she bit into the girls neck drinking. Hope had seen enough and Lizzie was practically vomiting, The smell of blood and alcohol was thick.

Hope walked into the room "Josie, what have you done?" Josie laughed as she looked up at Hope "I thought I told you to stay away from me and my gang?" Hope was currently crying, this monster in front of her was not her Josie anymore. It was just a shell of the girl she once was. "Jo, why did you do this? Why was you kissing Jade? You were meant to be my girlfriend". Josie went to stand up and answer her when the door opened revealing Raf, Finch and Penelope holding what looked like people. Finch and Raf dropped them Infront of Josie who didn't hesitate to grab one by the hair lifting her up "awh, aren't you pretty". She then dropped her back on her knees turning to the others who had just returned "Thank you". The others Just nodded and went on to do there own things.

Lizzie hadn't spoken and instead was just standing watching the whole ordeal. Hope spoke again "Josie answer me, please". Josie sighed as she stood up straight "what do you want Hope, I told you to stay away from me. Why are you here". Hope frowned as she answered "Because You love me Jo, And I love you. We've been in love for about 7 years and whatever you think you are. Your not". Josie started laughing as she looked into Hope's eyes "I don't love you. I never loved you. I'm a monster, I'm heartless and I'm ruthless". Josie picked up one of the girls before sinking her teeth into her neck and practically ripping her throat out before dropping her. At this point Lizzie had run out of the room and Hope was a mess "Jo this isn't you.  You need to stop, don't become what you fear most. You love me  you know you do and you can be better". Josie laughed once again "Hope, don't you get it? I was created by a monster, and I became a monster. I've become what I feared most already. But you know what? I'm not afraid of it anymore, I've embraced my dark side. I'm a killer it's who I am. And even if I did love you I don't anymore". Hope walked closer to her "What do you mean?" Josie grinned as she walked up to Hope putting her hand on the side of her cheek brushing it gently with her fingers before leaning in to her ear "Want to know a little secret?... I Don't feel anything anymore".

Josie pulled away before sitting back in her seat. As soon as she was sitting down Jade handed her another girl, and Josie graciously took her before biting into her neck. Hope was broken hearted at what she had just discovered and what she was witnessing. But she had made a vow years ago that no matter what happened, she would stick by Josie and that's what she planned to do. She would get Josie back, and she didn't care what it took. Josie would be herself again, Hope would make sure of it.
