I don't want her hurt

Hope was sitting on the sofa next to Kaleb observing as everyone was talking laughing and eating. Josie was currently drinking from Finch's wrist and Hope wasn't sure what to think. The gang behaved more like a pack then they did a gang, And Hope was sure they had known each other a long time, they all seemed so comfortable with each other. Josie was only about 18 as was Kaleb. MG looked more like 17 but then Penelope and Raff were about 24. Jade and Finch however seemed like they were slightly newer as Josie Didn't interact with them the same way she did the others. But Hope knew that they were both the same age as her. Hope was looking around at them when she heard someone speak to her "You look confused, What's wrong?" Hope looked towards Josie who was staring at her She wasn't sure whether to answer of not but she decided against ignoring Josie. "I'm Just wondering how you all met". Josie smiled a little before looking around at everyone then back at her "Me, Kaleb, MG, Penelope and Raff went to school together, And I met Jade and Finch at a party". Hope nodded as she continued speaking ignoring the conversations going on around her "How long have you know each other?" Josie was quiet for a second before speaking "About 8 years, But I've only known Finch and Jade 3 days". Hope nodded and smiled "How old are you?" Josie smiled lightly "I'm 18 and you?". Hope Smiled a little unsure if she should ask but she was to curious not to "I'm also 18. How old should you be?" Josie was silent for a moment her face showing brief sadness before she spoke "I should be 24 What about you? I can tell your not a new vampire". Hope registered the sad tone that Josie had answered her in and frowned "I should also be 24". 

(Short time skip)

It was late now and Everyone was starting to leave with the exception of Penelope, Finch and Hope. Once the others had Left Josie walked back into the front room and sat on the sofa "Well Looks like a girls night". Penelope smiled apologetically and shook her head "I'm sorry JoJo, I have to teach tomorrow". Josie just smiled at her "It's fine Pen, Make sure you get some rest". Penelope nodded and smiled before leaning over and Kissing her "Night Jo". Hope frowned at Penelope and Josie kissing. For some reason, She didn't like it. Once Penelope Left Finch Moved and sat On the sofa next to her "Hey Jo, Can I ask you something?" Josie looked at Finch nodding "Sure what do you need?" Finch swallowed a little before answering "If I get you what you need, Could you create me something called a moonlight ring?" Josie was quiet for a second "Why do you want one of them?" Finch was silent again for a second "I don't want to have to transform on a full moon, I want to be able to transform whenever I want. Is it possible?" Josie was silent for a second before speaking "Yes, Its possible, I need a black kyanite gemstone ring though. They are rare but if you get me that, I'll do it" Finch was quiet for a second when Hope spoke surprising both Finch and Josie "I know where you can get you one or two". Josie raised her eyebrow looking at her "Where?" Hope smiled as she spoke "I have 4 of them". Josie looked at her suspiciously "How did you get hold of Black Kyanite rings?" Hope smiled as she put her hand in her pocket pulling out a small Silver ring and putting it on "The same way I got hold of Lapis Lazuli rings". Josie Vamped over to Hope and began observing her ring "How do you know the gemstones are real?" Hope smiled lightly "I learned all about this stuff when I started studying witchcraft, and supernaturals. Plus I'm a Mikaelson, We know things. I received a kyanite ring from my Aunt as a gift and A lapis lazuli ring from my uncle. In the end I just began collecting rare Rings and gemstones Etc". Josie smiled at the girl "Your a smart girl, make sure to show me your collection sometime". 

Hope smiled at Josie's words then crossed her arms as she got an idea "I will make a deal with you". Josie raised her eyebrow "Oh yeah, And what might that be?" Hope smirked as she began speaking "If I give you a ring to Make Finch a moonlight ring, You let me go". Josie was quiet for a second considering it when she heard a voice behind her "I have a better Idea". Within a few seconds Finch had run across the room and had her hand around Hopes neck strangling her "You give us the ring and I don't kill you". Almost as soon as Finch had her hands around Hopes neck Josie pulled her off and threw her across the room "Don't touch her". Finch stood up looking at Josie confused and Hope Looked up at Josie looking surprised. Josie was unsure why she had done that but there was something about Hope that she couldn't quite figure out, for some reason She didn't want her to get hurt. "What the fuck Jo?" Josie walked over to Finch Checking her for any injury's "Did I hurt you?" Finch shook her head "No but what was that about?" Josie looked at Hope who was still surprised then back to Finch "I didn't want her to get hurt". Finch looked even more confused now "What? You've know this girl one day and you don't want her hurt? That's not like you. After the stories I've heard from your gang about you, Her neck would have been snapped by now or she would have a stake in her chest". Josie heard Hope's heartbeat quicken then looked over to her "Hey, you okay?" Hope nodded slowly. Josie smiled ad then turned to Finch "go wait in my room". Finch nodded And Josie leaned in kissing her before she headed up the stairs. Josie turned to Hope who looked extremally confused "What's wrong?"
