Josie woke up in Hope's bed, It had been a few weeks since Josie had tried to take her own life, But she was doing better than she had been. She had weekly counselling sessions set up by Hope, Weekly training sessions with Lizzie, And Family counselling with Alaric. Josie had a free day today so she decided she was going to have a lazy day in her pyjamas. Penelope and Raf had been employed at the Salvatore school, Along with MG and Kaleb. And Finch and Jade had become students there as a apology gift to Josie.
Josie was just laying in Hope's bed thinking when she heard Her girlfriend behind her "I can hear you thinking". Josie turned around and looked at Hope who was standing in front of her holding some blood "Here, It's warm". Josie sat up and accepted it and Hope sat next to her kissing her on the forehead "Are you okay baby?" Josie just shrugged a little "You mean besides hating myself every day. Yep I'm good". Hope frowned as she pushed Josie's hair back behind her ear "I thought counselling was working love?" Josie looked at Hope "It is, I can actually look at myself in a mirror now so there's that". Hope leaned in and kissed Josie again "It will get better love, it's just going to take some time". Josie nodded and smiled lightly "I know. But How much time? I don't want to spend my eternity like this". Hope laughed lightly as she answered "Your spending your eternity with me". Josie looked at Hope with a serious look on her face "How can you forgive me for what I've done Hope?" Hope smiled As she looked at Josie "Because I love you. And seven years ago I told you I would love you forever, and I'm saying it again now".
Josie smiled as she kissed Hope "Forever is a long time. But I think I can Live with that". Hope smiled at Josie when there was a knock at the door. Hope called out and Lizzie walked in smiling "Hey Jo". Lizzie hugged her sister before sitting down "I was wondering if you two wanted to watch a movie with me". Hope and Josie both nodded and Lizzie smiled widely "Great, Jo you can choose". Josie was quiet for a second thinking "Let's watch something funny". Hope nodded as she grabbed Her laptop and loaded it up before Projecting it onto her wall. They loaded up Netflix and began scrolling through the comedies. They finally settled on watching the secret life of pets 2 but none of them really watched it as they just enjoyed spending time together talking after being separated for 6 years.
Lizzie, Josie and Hope were all laying in Hope's bed when there was another knock at the door. Hope looked at Lizzie who got up and answered it, "Dad? What are you doing here?" Alaric smiled lightly as he spoke "Is Josie here?" Lizzie nodded and pulled the door open. Alaric walked in and smiled at her "Hey Jo, I was just wondering if you wanted to go into town later? I was thinking maybe we could do some shopping or have some lunch? Hope is welcome to join us". Josie looked at Hope then at her dad "Can Lizzie come to?" Alaric nodded and Josie smiled lightly "Okay, We will get dressed and meet you downstairs later". Alaric nodded and smiled once more as he left the room. Hope instantly turned to her girlfriend "Are you okay?" Josie just nodded and Lizzie climbed back in bed "I'm fine. It might be nice to have lunch with him". Hope nodded lightly "Of course, I'm happy to see that Family therapy is paying off". Josie just smiled lightly "Yeah, It's not bad I guess". Hope just kissed her girlfriend again before smiling "Remember it will get easier love". Josie nodded and Hope un paused the movie and they continued watching it in silence.
The movie had ended and Hope had fallen to sleep. Josie sat and looked at her for a while when Lizzie spoke behind her "Did you practice those heart eye's in the mirror?" Josie looked away then at her sister "No, I just love her". Lizzie smiled and looked at Hope "She loves you to. When dad told her you had died. I thought she was going to turn her humanity off, She was that bad. I managed to help her though". Josie nodded "You blocked her memories for her". Lizzie nodded and frowned slightly "I'm sorry Jo. I couldn't loose her and you on the same day". Josie nodded "I understand. I Would have done the same if I was in your position". Lizzie nodded and grabbed her sisters hand "Jo, Can you do something for me?" Josie nodded back and looked at her sister "Sure what is it?" Lizzie cleared her throat as she talked "Turn me". Josie looked at Lizzie in surprise "No Lizzie this isn't something you want". Lizzie frowned as she spoke "Please Jo. I Have missed out on 6 years with you, I want to make that time up". Josie smiled lightly and squeezed Lizzies hand "Then Let's make that time up. You can do magic right, Share those 6 years with me". Lizzie sighed as she spoke "It's not the same Jo. You should have been their". Josie frowned and swallowed trying to rid herself of the lump in her throat "I know Lizzie. And I'm so sorry that I wasn't". Lizzie pulled her sister into her and gave her a hug "I know, But it wasn't your fault. You basically gave your life for mine. So if anyone should feel responsible it's me".
Josie smiled as she pulled away from her sister "You should never feel responsible for my actions Lizzie. The choice's I made were solely mine. And I may regret them but I also learned from them. So please don't ever blame yourself". Lizzie smiled as she hugged her sister and the both laid down in Hopes bed "Well, Here's to new beginnings sis". Josie smiled and nodded "New beginnings".
