"Giyuu!!" I shouted.

Giyuu was hurt by a demon and he collapsed. I ran up to him and he was unconscious. Tears were welling up, but I heard Sabito yell.

"Urokodaki-san is a great teacher!" Sabito yelled as he ran up to the hideous Hand Demon.

"Hihihi! I like it when the fox kids get mad," The demon said.

"Sabito! Be careful!" I yelled out.

This was our last night in the Final Selection and we had to come across this demon. The three of us had already suffered so much and my wounds haven't healed up. I stood up and got into my fighting stance.

Sabito was trying to kill the hand demon, but there was too many hands going in his way. The hand demon also had arms covering his neck, which made it harder for us.

Breath of the Sun, Fourth Form: Gen'nichi Kō! (Fake Rainbow)

I cut off some of its arms and hands, but there were still a lot of it coming after me. I needed to get to Sabito real quick before something bad happens.

"Oh, a Sun Breath user?" The Hand Demon said.

And I paused. Sabito looked at me from afar.

"What do you know about my origins?" I asked.

"Hihihi, I see your anger in you. You want to know why Muzan killed your family? Hihi it's because you're a threat to the demon world!" He angrily screamed.

His hands were moving everywhere and his feet were stomping the ground.

"You and your kind should've been extinct! Watch out girl, the Twelve Kizuki will come out in your way and take you- dead or alive!" The Hand Demon laughed hard and the ground was shaking because of it's stomping.

I fell into the ground and Sabito came running towards me.

"Yuei! Let's help Giyuu," He said as he helped me get up and took my hand.

"Giyuu! Are you okay?" I asked and there was no response from him.

"Where are you kiddos going!? I'm not done playing with you yet! HIHIHI," The Hand Demon was trying to catch us with his hands, but Sabito sliced it.

Sabito looked behind and said, "Yuei, take Giyuu and run," My eyes widened.

"What- no, Sabito, I'm not leaving you!"

"You're hurt and Giyuu's unconscious. Please just leave it to me," Sabito turned around but I held his hand.

"Please... let me help you," I said and he turned around.

"We're all in this together," I smiled at him.

"Enough talking foxes!"

I felt a sudden shake in the ground. Sabito and I sensed it. He's hands are going up from the ground!!

The ground split open, but the hands didn't catch us because Sabito and I dodged. Sabito was carrying Giyuu in his back. I held my sword tight.

"Wow, marvelous reflexes!" The Hand Demon said.

Sabito and I looked at each other and for some reason, we understood what needed to be done. He layes Giyuu down by the tree and put on his fighting stance.

The Hand Demon was laughing endlessly. He knew that all of us were exhausted and I was hurt. Sabito was at his limits and Giyuu is unconscious.

We both breathed deeply and chanted at the same time:

"Sun breathing"       "Water Breathing"

"Eleventh Form"      "Tenth Form"

"Nichiun no Ryū Kaburimai (Solar Halo Dragon Dance)!"

"Seisei Ruten! (Constant Flux)"

We began to go after the demon. The Hand Demon was startled and surprised by our sudden move. My sword unleashed the Flaming Sun Dragon as Sabito unleashes his powerful Water Dragon. And together, as two elements: fire and water combine.

Our two dragons attacked the Hand Demon as he stood still.

I felt our blades slicing his neck. I fell to the ground and Sabito protectively embraced me. I couldn't move anymore nor I could breath properly. Performing that move took a toll on my body.

Just when we thought the fight is already over, the Hand Demon spoke, "You think you two are the best?!"

Sabito and I held each other knowing that the other one didn't have the strength to stand up anymore. When we thought that we would pass the Final Selection, this happens. Our technique was powerful and yet, we couldn't beat this demon.

I was left in confusion. How come we didn't get to kill the demon? We did a powerful combination and yet-

Sabito suddenly made me look at his sword. I found out that it broke when we were about to do the combo. Sabito looked at me as if he was saying sorry. I smiled at him, assuring him that we'll be alright.

Kyo-san is waiting for me...
I have to go home.

Just then, light came from the far horizon. The sun was rising. The Hand Demon immediately ran away from us because of his fear of the sun. We were saved.

Sabito and I cried at each other's arms as Giyuu dreamed of a good dream.
