The Day Off

It was morning and Asta had woken up later than usual this is the first time in five years he was able to sleep on a bed. He got up and changed into a new black bull robe after he had lost his but his headband on and his bracelet as he walked downstairs to see Nash, Marie, Nick, and Noelle all eating breakfast. Asta decided to sit by Noelle their eyes met and they both look away blushing. Asta was the first to speak "good morning Noelle" still looking away. "G-Good morning to you too." As the the two were nervous after last night. Nash wanting to tease Asta says "You usually never wake up this late were you up all night thinking about Noelle" Asta as red as a tomato looks away and says "If only you were as nice as the other children in the church." Nash laughed at his brothers expense when suddenly he got hit in the back of the head by Marie. Asta laughing at Nash also got hit in the back of the head by Noelle.

After breakfast Yami walks in and tells Asta to go see the wizard king to tell him that Asta is alive. Before he leave the four that enjoyed breakfast with asta also wanted to go Asta obliged he asked if everyone knew how to fly on a broom they all said yes...except one. Noelle looking sad at the fact that children can fly on a broom when she still has a hard time. Asta noticed this and asked if she would want to fly with him on demon slayer. Her face lit up as Asta extended a hand to her.

All the newbies were shocked at how beautiful the capital looked as Asta and Noelle walked behind them. Noelle started to giggle as she watched the newbies get all excited. Asta turns to her and asks "what's so funny?" Noelle looks at him and says " that's the same way you reacted when you first came here." Asta started to laugh at the memories he had with Noelle in the capital. They make it to the wizard kings office as they knock they hear Marx say he'll get the door. When the door opened marx face lit up as he saw Asta he quickly ran to get both the current and past wizard king. The past wizard king now around 17 looked at Asta with stars in his eyes as Asta got tackled. Julius says "I can't believe your here I thought you died I thought my future sight was right and I was sad to see a great magic knight like you die." After a minute or two Marx leads the 4 to the wizard kings office as the door opens Fuegoleon eyes widen as he stands and give Asta a hand shake and says "I knew someone like you wouldn't die that easily." Asta laughs as he turn around to show the newest black bulls to
Fuegoleon . Asta states that this is there fist time in the capital's days asks if they could have a free day to look around. Fuegoleon agrees as long as they work hard on the next mission. They all salute and say yessir.

In the capital Asta and Noelle separated from the newbies as they started holding hands and walking around. Asta goes to see the statue Julius put up for him and laughs as he is in shock that people would allow a statue of a peasant in the middle of the royal capital. After a few minutes of walking Asta finds Nash and the newbies as they were eating in a restaurant Asta asks them if they would like to visit hage with Noelle and himself. They agree and get excited as they pay for their meal and leave.

They make their way to hage as he realizes he hasn't seen yuno yet. He asks Nash " Nash what happened to Yuno and mimosa I haven't seen them yet." Nash then tells Asta that the four nations live in harmony after he defeated the dark triad and that yuno had became the king of spade with mimosa as queen. Asta smiled and said "Damn handsome jerk I was supposed to become a king first." Noelle laughs as they approach the skull.

They land in front of the church were Recca is outside doing laundry as she decided that she would be better working with sister than becoming a knight. She saw the three newbies become magic knight and that they joined the same squad she congratulated them then she saw Noelle and Asta. Tears started to form as she ran to Asta giving him a hug. "ASTA YOUR BACK BUT THEY SAID YOU DIED?!?" Recca still in shock ran inside and yelled that Asta had returned. Not even a second later you could see everyone from the church run outside and tackle Asta except father he was to old to tackle him but still went up and gave him a big bear hug. Once they all got off he saw sister Lily crying that he has returned. He stopped look at her with a smile and said " I know I just got back but look I got a girlfriend." He said with a huge smile.

The whole church went silent except for two new children who joined while Asta was away then they all screamed "NO WAY" sister Lily smiled at him and said "And what was with the change of heart." Asta looked at her and said "I was young and wanted to prove to you I could do anything even go against the cloth but I realized I didn't love you like a lover but more as a mother." Sister Lily started tearing up and gave him a hug as she said " Finally our little Asta is all grown up."

They went inside where the two youngest introduced themselves. The first one was a boy with brown hair and blue eyes his name is Ash and he's five. Then the youngest she had the same hair color as Asta and the same kinda eyes as Noelle which shocked them both. She said her name was scarlet and she was four. The magic knight hung out and played with the young. The five decided to call it a day and head back to base where they were a lot more rowdy than they had been they threw a feast for Asta's return after the feast Asta went to Finral and asked him to make a portal to spade he took the four with him as they mad it to the castle Asta realized the place was a lot warmer than last time and way more lively.

They walk to the front of the castle where they were stoped by a spade knight saying they weren't welcomed. Asta then asked to see the king as they were brothers. The knight called his bluff and called king Yuno and Queen mimosa down. As they walked outside the castle they saw Asta as Mimosa was about to say something a huge blast of wind came at Asta with blazing speed. Without a second thought Asta put anti magic around his arm as he punched the wind making it disappear. Everyone was shocked at the strength Asta displayed not even using a sword and not even getting nervous. Yuno then said "Long time no see shrimpsta" "I could say the same thing handsome jerk." As Yuno and Asta fist pump.

The guard let them in as they start to catch up and after a few minutes Asta says " hang on Yuno how tall are you." Yuno with a blank face says "6'0 why?" Asta with a grin on his face stands up and says " I'M TALLER THAN YOU NOW YOU CAN'T CALL ME SHRIMPSTA NOW CAN YOU!" Yuno laughs and says " I guess your right." As that was said Mimosa, Noelle, and Marie walk in with tea and Asta noticed something strange about Mimosa's ki.

He walked over to her and asks "Mimosa are you perhaps pregnant?" The room fell silent as Asta got slapped by Noelle as she says "Don't say that to a lady that's rude now apologize." Asta stands up and says "I'm sorry I said something so rude Mimosa it's just that I sensed two ki's from you." Before Noelle got the chance to smack him again Mimosa says that he's right she is pregnant with Yuno's child she just couldn't find the time since he's always busy. Yuno shocked picked her up and hugged her and said "Are you serious am I actually going to be a dad." Mimosa nodded as she started to cry at the same time Yuno was. They then said their goodbyes and the black bulls went back home.

Noelle pouting at Asta and said "Next time we're off I want to go on a date." Asta just smiled and said "Definitely" Marie and Nash heard this as they headed to their room and while walking by they both said "ooooooo" in a teasing tone. Noelle getting flustered started running after them trying to hit them. Nash picked up Marie so they could run faster ran into Nash's room. Asta caught up to Noelle and walked by the door as they both copied the newbies making the newbies flustered.
