The blast

Liebe and undine make it to Licita room but Liebe decides to talk to her outside before actually walking in to let her know it's him. "Hey mom it's me Liebe." "Oh Liebe what are you doing out there and why are you hiding?" "Well two reasons." Liebe says walking in with his human form holding undines hand. "Whoa they actually finished today. You both look good." Licita says putting down her book. "What do you mean they finished today?" Liebe says as Licita looks at him in a sassy manner "you think I wouldn't know what my son and husband were doing today. My husband ran in here like a child on Christmas telling me his plan. But I did think it'd take more than a day." Liebe gets a little frustrated he didn't think about that before Licita says. "Ah sorry pardon my manors you must be Undine right?" Undine nods hiding behind Liebe. She's never talked to someone without Lolopechka or Noelle let alone that someone being her new boyfriends mother.  "It's ok Undine she's the one who took me when everyone kicked me away." Undine came out from behind Liebe as Licita hugged her "take care of my second boy." Undine stands up and nods. Licita smiles as she thinks "How did you find someone like that?"

The next morning in Asta's room Owen comes in and says "Asta your throat still isn't the best but you should be able to leave in a few days. These next few days we're going to try to get your ankle to support you again." Asta gives Owen a confused look as he hand felt pain in his ankle. He had already thought his ankle was fixed. "We were only able to numb the pain for the time being. That blasts damages were weird. No matter what we did it was almost impossible to heal. It took a good amount of magic from both me and mimosa but even then." Owen clenches his fist "that blast had something else in there. Even though you absorbed it you still took damage that we can't heal." Asta looks confused before grabbing the sword. "What are you doing?" Owen asks confused as asta focuses closing his eyes. After a few seconds a small crystal orb pops out of the blade. Asta hands Owen a note "take this to sally she can figure out what was in that blast. Don't break it or the attack I was hit with will come out." Owen looks at asta in disbelief "how did you do that?" Asta shrugs all he knows is that was not a humans doing. As Owen leaves Liebe pops out "so he took over someone and is trying to attack huh." Liebe says as asta gets angry. Then Noelle comes in smiling holding a basket. "I heard you'll be able to leave soon so me and charmy made some cookies." Asta looks at Noelle surprised. "What didn't know I can cook. I learned it while you were gone to get my mind off of things." She looks down a little depressed. Asta seeing this hands her a note "I won't leave again I swear." Noelle smiles as she says "You better because if you do you'll have to deal with Licita and Ashton too." Shivers were sent down his back as Noelle laughs. Asta indicates for Noelle to turn the note around. It asks which one of the cookies are made by her. Noelle picks a cookie in the shape of a heart up and hands it to him. Noelle a little flustered looks away as Asta takes a bite. Asta has sparkles in his eyes as he finishes the cookie in bite. "It's good." He says raspy to show how good it really was. Noelle smiles as undine and Liebe pop out. "Are you gonna make me cookies at some point?" "N-no." Undine says shyly. "Liebe she already did they're rig-" Undine quickly goes into her human form to cover Noelles mouth. Liebe also goes into human form as he picks out a misshaped heart cookie that seems just a tad bit burnt. He takes a bite of it before saying "a little burnt but other than that not bad." Undine smiles a little before saying "I wont mess up next time." "I'll hold you to that." Liebe says with a smile making Undine blush.

After a while Magna burst through the door. "ASTA MY MAN HOW YOU FEELING!?" Asta throws his hands up in celebration after beating everyone in uno. Noticing Magna he waves as all the others look down in defeat. As Magna walks in sol is right behind "THE SHORTY IS BACK I THOUGHT HE HAD DIED IN SPADE!?!?" Sol said walking in. "We all did then suddenly he came back. Kinda like a lost dog." Asta rolls his eyes at Magnas comment as he throws a paper at Magna "why'd you come here? And why's she here?" Before Magna could say anything "Ah sol how was your date? You said you were exci-" sol covers Noelles mouth blushing hard " We haven't gone yet Magna said since he was in the capital he'd see his junior. Didn't think it was shorty though." Sol said whispering "you know I'm pretty sure he's taller than you now." "No way do you realize how short he was and at his rate he would've only grown shorter and wider." Noelle got a little annoyed and asked "Asta you think you can stand if me and Liebe help?" Asta nods before they both help him up. Sol is in disbelief that the guy who barely came to her chest now skyscrapers over her. Sol by the way is 5'10 and has hair to he shoulders but she puts it up in a ponytail mostly. Asta hand her a note that reads "last time I saw you I was barely to your elbows. How times change huh?"

Sol grabs Magnas hand and walks put the door a little flustered as Owen comes in "Should I ask?" Everyone shakes their heads. "Whatever. But perfect timing we're going to see how bad your ankle is right now. Follow me." They put asta in a wheelchair as owen asks everyone to stay except Asta. After a few seconds outside the room Owen he says "So sally found a weird type of magic in the blast. It wasn't no anti magic but it looks like someone's trying to copy you." Asta clenches his fist before Owen continues "we are working on getting a fix done in a day then we should be able to use healing magic again. And you'll be good to go." Asta sighs in relief as he thinks. He hands Owen a note "Is this copy of anti magic still magic?" Owen looks at asta and says "Yes it seems to be a mixture of different magics that somehow disrupt natural mana and magic." Asta nods as he takes his fist and infuses it with anti magic. He then rubs his ankle in anti magic before giving a note to Owen asking to try healing his ankle. Owen agrees as he heals Asta's ankle. Asta stands and doesn't feel anything he jumps and wiggles his foot before putt on his throat and arm. Owen heals them as asta says "Finally I can talk again. It got annoying throwing paper." Owen laughs as he says "Of course why didn't I think of rubbing the true anti magic over it. Anyways with that you should be free to leave." Asta jumps in joy as he runs back to the room.

"NOELLE IM HEALED!" Asta says running through the door. "ASTA?! YOU CAN TALK AGAIN?!" Noelle says crying as she tackles Asta. "Hey now I maybe healed but I'm human too. Anyways we figured out it was fake anti magic so all I had to do was rub real anti magic on it then it was able to be healed!" Noelle smiles as she hugs him harder. "Now we can go do what we came to do in the first place." Asta says with a smirk as he picks Noelle up bridal style. "Asta slow down what about you stuff?!" "It's fine we can grab it later or force undine and Liebe to do it." Noelle giggles before placing her head on Astas chest before thinking "I missed this."
