The bracelet

Asta wakes up near a tree. Broken fore arm, blood falling from the head, twisted ankle. "Liebe, Noelle." He says in a soft tone before leaning on the tree. "Who's this?" The sound of a young boy alerts Asta. "Who's there. What do you want." Asta says softly his vision blurry. The boy scared goes behind a tree. "Help me please." Asta says quietly reaching his hand out before passing out. "What happened why is there a strange man behind our house. I need to get mom." The little boy runs towards a house. "MOM THERES A WIERD GUY BEHIND THE HOUSE!" The little boy says bursting through the door. His mother grabs her grimoire as they run towards asta. "He's run behind this tree." The woman holds her arm out before going around the tree to see a beat up asta lying on the ground. "SIR ARE YOU OK WHAT HAPPENED?" The woman says shaking him "Noelle..." asta says ever so quietly. "Ben go get your father from work. Have him carry the man." Ben nods before running towards town. "So your the legendary hero huh?" The woman says.

Asta wakes up to a smell of pie. He quickly rises up before falling backwards from the pain. The woman approached him before asta tries getting off the couch but yet again falling back down"Where am I? Who are you? Where is the king and queen? Where's my grimoire ? Whe-" the woman gives him a piece of bread to make him stop talking. "Don't talk you hurt you throat pretty bad. If you strain it it could cause permanent damage." Asta nods before trying to indicate for water realizing one of his arms are broken. Asta after taking a sip asks quietly "is there a medic here?" The woman nods before saying "Yes my son and husband went to grab her Mr. Hero." Asta looks surprised and tries to say something before being cut off "when you were gone each year on the day you left had a memorial. The youngest Silva and the black bulls would tell your stories. The captains and wizard kings praised you. The statue was shown a lot. My son looks up to you so much. He says he's going to get stronger and become a black bull." Asta smiles before quietly saying "Did you find a sword with me?" She nods and points to the corner. Asta panics and tries to jump down. He limps out side in a panic. The woman tries to stop him before asta falls down on the floor crying. In a raspy voice he yells "DAMN IT! I CANT LOOSE THAT I NEED IT!" The woman runs to him before panicking saying "CALM DOWN REMEMBER I SAID IF YOU YELL YOU MIGHT DAMAGE YOUR VOICE!" "It doesn't matter if i don't have it." Asta says quietly tears falling. "Hello there young lad what are you doing out here I thought I carried you inside?" A man around 6'5 says. "I don't know what happened he asked about his sword and limped out the house in a hurry not worrying about his injuries. Did you find the medic." The husband nods before realizing asta passed out again crying. "Looks like we'll have to wait till he wakes up again before we can ask what he's missin." The man says picking him up again.

After a few hours asta wakes up in cold sweats. He looks out the window to see the suns down. "Ah." Asta turns to see a kid sitting next to asta the kid gets up in a hurry and yells "MOMMY DADDY HES AWAKE!" The couple rush out to see asta try to escape again. "Ok mister hero we need to talk about you trying to hurt yourself more." The man says picking up asta. "Let me go I need to find the bracelet I lost. It's the only thing I care about right now." Asta says raspy squirming in the mans grip. "You mean this one?" The little kid picks it up from the table. Asta smiles before tears fall. He holds him good arm out and Ben gives it to him. "Thank god I didn't lose this." Ben nervously asks him "Sir could you possibly be the great hero Asta." Asta nods as he's putting on the bracelet. "I'm sorry to cut this short but I need to get to the capital. Where are we?" The woman states "Aren't you going to wait till your healthy?" Asta quickly shakes his head "I can't I was going to go with my fiancé to plan our wedding but when we where saying goodbye to the king and queen of spade we got attacked. The family nods before saying "we'll take you to the capital." Asta bows sitting down saying thank you before the wife says "If on the way you teach Ben how to control his magic." Asta says "I can't teach him I have no mana. But I know someone who can if you take me to the capital I'll make sure he has a good teacher. She might be a little strict but he'll have great control over his mana." Ben gets excited and say "That's great I'm going to get ready." The family smiles before opening the door helping asta into the carriage. "Liebe how are you doing?" Asta says to nothing happening. Asta scrunches up before saying "I miss you Noelle Liebe."

The next day At the capital Noelle is in the hospital room with Licita and Liebe "I don't know what to do. He's missing and I barely know if he's alive or not." Noelle starts tearing up as Licita hugs her "Hey calm down now I'm sure he's fine." Noelle still crying as Liebe says "I know him better than anyone I love inside his brain so I don't have a choice but I know for a fact he wouldn't die that easily." Noelle still crying starts to fall asleep on Licita as Licita thinks "You've found yourself a wonderful wife asta." Liebe then screams "HES OK! HES OK!" Noelle wakes up immediately "IS HE HERE!?" "No but he's close" Liebe says "how do you know." "Your bracelet, the further away his bracelet is from yours the lighter color it is the close he is the darker it is." Noelle smiles before a man rushes into the hospital "DOCTOR COME QUICK THIS MAN!! HES IN TROUBLE!" Immediately Noelle and Liebe rush out to look in horror at Asta. He's bandaged, bleeding, and won't wake up. "ASTA!!" Noelle and Liebe shout at the same time rushing over to him. "What happened." The man explained how they found him and how on their way here they hear him scream before he stopped moving entirely.
