18. Misunderstanding

Payal's POV:

I was very much happy meeting him after a whole year. My smile faded away when I heard a female voice from the passenger seat and it was the same girl whom I saw in photos.

I made a face like I didn't cared and went away from there without saying a word. I ran as quickly as I can. Suddenly it started raining. I didn't stop yet and kept on running but gradually, the rain started increasing. I had no other option rather than hiding myself under a shop where most of the people were standing due to rain. I went to a corner and stood there.

I remembered everything that had happened. When we first met, he used to flirt with me a lot and always give time to me. We even meet secretly. He never left my side. I had decided to tell my feelings to him, but the very next day he disappeared all of a sudden.

I always waited in my balcony hoping that he will come but he never showed up. I always waited for his calls but it never rang. The only thing which I had was his photos which we took together and his contact number which was of no use now.

Even if he had changed his number, why won't he contact me through it? He must had my number atleast.

I was suffering here all day because of him, I even yelled at my bestfriend because of him but he was busy with another girl.

All the memories started flashing in my mind. How can he leave me for a girl after making me fall for him badly? He was such a gentleman. Gentleman never hurts a girl. He betrayed me. I hate you Aroosh Singhania!!

A few tears escaped my eyes. I just wanted to scream at that time. I had no idea why he did that to me. It is not good to hurt anyone's feelings. I hate cheaters.

Itish also did the same to me. At first, he showed up as a gentleman, but later on he showed up his true colours. I never expected Aroosh to do the same with me. Finding true love in a fake world is very difficult.

Everyone is fake. No one is real. I guess my mom was right. He will betray me at last. I was the one who always supported him. I just have to delete all his memories.

I took out my phone and selected all his photos on my gallery. I was about to press the delete button when I someone grabbed my hands.

Aroosh POV:

It was strange that she ran away without saying anything. I kept on looking at her until she disappeared.

"Aroosh! Who was she? Do you know her?" Sikshya asked.

"Umm.. she was the one whom I was talking about. My crush.." I said being a little shy.

"Hmm.. I see someone is being a little shy." She said teasing me.

"By the way, why did she ran away without saying anything?" She added.

"I don't know? Maybe because I disappeared all of a sudden!" I said.

"So, she must be missing you for that. She will atleast talk to you or something!" She said. Well, she had a point.

"Umm.. leave it. Maybe she is mad at me!" I said and went to the driving seat and started driving again.

Suddenly, it started raining.

"Lets go quickly! It started raining." She said.

"Yeah, I am trying." I said and focused on road.

After leaving her, I started going towards my house and the rain also stopped.

While passing through the road, I saw Payal standing on a store alone. Maybe she haven't noticed that the rain have stopped.

I went towards her. She was so busy on her phone that she didn't noticed me.

While I reached near her, I saw that she was about to delete our photos together.

What the hell!

Don't she know that I love her till the moon and the back? I gave her so much hints about my crush on her. Can't she see love in my eyes?

I can't let this happen. I held her hand and grabbed her. She looked at me and her eyes were swollen due to crying.

"Payal! Why are you crying?" I said and was about to wipe her tears when she pushed me.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Don't talk to me!"

"I am sorry, I left all of a sudden but believe me, I.."

"How can I believe you after all the things you did to me?" She shouted at me.

"Payal! Listen to me.."

"I don't want to!"

"Listen, I am here to bring everything back to its place. I lov.."

"No need to make anything perfect. You ruined it all."

"I know that I ruined it all but trust me for one's."

"How can I? You broke all my trust."

"I know that and I am really sorry! Let me explain, please!"

"No! Go away! Why are you here? Go back to your girlfriend!"

"Girlfriend? What girlfriend are you talking about?"

"Don't you know her? Stop acting!"

"Payal! I swear I never had any girl in my life except you! All the other girls were either my friends or my staff." I said trying to make her understand.

"You are lying! You have a girlfriend! You are so bad! You mad me fall for you and at last you betrayed me?"

"You love me? I love yo.."

"I don't love you anymore! I loved you then. All my feelings towards you have changed now! I hate you!" She said and ran away crying.

I felt hurt. I don't know what girlfriend she was talking about! Maybe she misunderstood. She said that she hate me. I can't let this happen. 1 year ago, I tried a lot to make her fall for me. At last, when she fell for me, I left. I am so bad. I messed up all.

I will make sure that she will fall for me again and I will make her forgive me. I can't let things be worse.
