And I was devastated
The wound is still raw
So this is a haiku. Honestly I can barely put into words, how much those words hurt me, how the memory still brings tears to my eyes. She let me down when I needed her most; I needed the love of my mom and she denied it. I haven't been able to forgive her for it, and I don't know if I ever will.
