Didn't even give me a chance to stitch the rip in my heart the first time round

You say you're the fool, then am I the joke
Ain't nothing worse than believing lies you spoke, and promises you broke
And I hope it's the last hurrah for the pain
Cause it's pointless when there's shit all to gain
Just a slap in a the face saying it's time to move on
