One day, as Mary Sue started on her history essay which she got approximately 1.25 seconds ago, her iPhone 25, the latest model, rang. She quickly (and carefully) put on her baby pink gloves and baby pink surgical mask (she didn't want to ruin her new phone that she got 2 nanoseconds after it came out) and answered her phone call.
Her friends Juliet, Drizelda and Suzy were on the line. "Come on, Mary Sue! Meet us at the mall. Quick! Lusiliana and Ceceliana are already there!" Suzy said. Mary Sue sighed loudly. (And realising what she had done, quickly said,"Excuse me".) The twins had always been going outside on their own! What must they be doing these days... Mary Sue woke up from her daydream (and realising what she had done, quickly said,"Excuse me".) and answered,"Sure! Wait until I have finished my World War 1 homework and I shall see about what you have just said." "Ok, but make sure you don't take too long." Drizelda warned. "I shall only take two seconds." Mary Sue promised.
In those two seconds, she kept her phone in its place, took her gloves off, got out of her bed, made her bed tidy, went up the escalator to her walk-in-closet, changed into her ruby earrings, matching ruby necklace, tongue-ring, red purse, red dress and her FAVOURITE new high heels with rubies on them, made her make-up artists do her makeup, made her hairstylists do her hair, and walked out of the mansion.
She went over to her lawyer, Mr. Larry Oswald, who was waiting for her right outside. They started walking. Wait a minute, what? WALKING?!? Mary Sue had just thought of this when her lawyer asked, "Miss, may I please discuss something with you?"
Obviously Mary Sue said '"Sure dear!"' So the lawyer went on,
"I think you have realised that we are walking instead of sitting in your private electric limousine..."
"Yes dear.."
"...and I am very, truly sorry about this...
"What happened?"
"Well... it shut down."
"What do you mean, 'shut down'?"
"Um, the battery shut down."
"Oh. But what about the other backup limousines?"
"They shut down too, miss."
"All 54?"
"Yes, miss."
"Hmm... well.. I could fix all of them!" She said, taking a positive note, even in a VERY scary situation, just like her personality!
"But miss...aren't you going to the mall with your friends?" Mr. Larry asked.
"Mmm...I could fix the limousines after I am done shopping!" She said, excited that her very scary story had ended.
But it didn't.
Mary Sue realised that something was wrong. She checked Mr. Larry's watch.
"Oh no!" She cried. She only had 3 milliseconds to walk all the way to the mall, enter it, sign 50,000 autographs from the people at the mall, and enter the 5 star milkshake bar they were all meeting in!
They both ran fast towards the mall. Mary Sue was the fastest runner in the universe. So she ran quickly. Suddenly, she heard a crack!
Oh no! She quickly brought her full size mirror out of her purse and checked through it. No scratch on the dress. No wind ruining her hair and makeup. She checked her shoes. Double oh no! She had a speck of dirt on her BRAND NEW shoes! It was dark and murky brown and it DEFINITELY not look good with her complexion!
How was she going to go to the mall now?!?
Suddenly, she had an idea. She quickly (and carefully this time) ran home and changed into her new high heels, and to match with that, new makeup, new dress, new tongue-ring, new earring, new necklace and new purse, (all diamond themed this time) and ran back to the mall, signed the autographs, and went over to the milkshake bar and ordered a strawberry milkshake for her and vanilla milkshakes for her friends.
She checked the time. Just 4 milliseconds early!
Her friends came. "Thanks for the milkshakes!"
"Your welcome!"
