Maeve

"Are you?"

"Yes."

"You sure?"

"Positive."

"Good luck."

"You're coming with me."

"Why?"

"You're cute. She might feel sorry."

"You bitch."

Walker laughs and takes my hand, walking over to the front door.

He knocks on the door and within seconds, Triggers mom, Sonna, opens up.

"Oh no. Did he do something wrong?" she goes straight to say.

My jaw slightly drops and Walker shakes his head. "Listen, I'm not playing your game. If you really want what's best for your son, but I'd highly suggest pulling him out of school. He is NOT the issue here. Those guys pick on him and of course he's not gonna put up with that. That is the reason for the fights. He will go far in life if you just homeschool him. Not everyone is made for school. He does NOT start the fights. His peers do."

She stands there, shocked. "Excuse me? How would you know?"

"Because I was fucking there, Sonna. I witnessed it. I've known that boy for only a short amount of time but it's been enough to realize that you treat him so unfairly like he's a piece of gum stuck to your shoe. Trust me, he won't get anywhere if you keep getting onto him and tearing him down. Do what's best for that boy. He's sweet as hell and I love him like he's my brother. Do not let him down." Walker says sternly.

She shakes her head and slams the door shut in our face.

"What a bitch." I scoff.

"No no, it's okay. I saw that realization in her eyes. It's gonna be a-okay. Trust me." Walker winks, kissing my forehead. "C'mon, let's go get some lunch."

"Okay!"

**

"Walker?"

"Hm?" he turns to me.

"Ca—"

"Coach!" Trigger runs in. "You did it!!"

We turn to him.

"Pardon?" Walker stops sucking in his lollipop.

"She pulled me out!! I'm going to start homeschooling! Thank you so much!" he hugs Walker with tears in his eyes.

He feels so relieved.

You can just hear it in his voice.

"I'm so fucking glad." Walker wraps his right arm around him. "I knew she'd budge."

Trigger pulls back. "She actually let me talk things out with her! She's like a whole different person!"

"That's awesome, buddy!! I'm happy for you!" Walker ruffled his hair.

"I can't thank you enough!"

"I'd do anything for ya, kiddo."

"How could I repay you?" Trigger calms down.

Walker shakes his head and laughs. "Bring us home a trophy at your fight!"

"Yes sir!"

They laugh and go off to do their thing.

I sit there on my phone, just waiting to see if they need me as I don't wanna seem rude by just walking off.

I adore how much he loves his students. It just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. He would make an amazing father one day.

I love this boy.

So much.

"Hey precious." Walker places a soft kiss on my forehead.

"Hi." I smile.

"Whatcha doin?" he sits next to me, wrapping his arm around me.

I lay my head on him. "Can I talk to you about something?"

"Of course! Anything." he rubs my arm.

"I think I'm ready." I look up.

"Ready forrr?" he trails off.

I look down nervously. "To make love. I trust you. So so much."

It gets silent, instantly making me regret everything I just said.

"A-are you sure? I don't want you to feel like you have to. I'm completely fine with waiting!"

"I'm sure..."

"Okay... then I am too."

I smile and stand up.

He looks at me and laughs, getting back up and chasing me to his bedroom.

"Can we just have a safe word?" I ask.

"Of course! What about... jellybeans?!" he asks so confidently.

I chuckle at his attempt of a safe word. "I think it's cute."

He smiles and passionately kisses me.

It turns out into a make-out session which soon becomes undressing each other.

I feel self conscious in the start, but he makes me feel so safe once he kisses me all over and smiles, adoring my body.

I'm definitely ready for this.

He lays me down on the bed, hovering over me and kissing my cheek. "Still ready?" he asks me.

I smile and nod. "Still ready."

He slowly slides himself in, causing me to winch in pain, but I eventually adjust.

"Still ready?"

"Still ready."
