"No. You're not to stop, you're not to speak. You're to deliver the letter. Do you understand?" he said sternly. (y/n) watched, yeah he was a bit hard on Toby, but god damn was this man fine. Especially when he was mad wink wonk."

It was a beautiful day. Mr. Todd and Mrs. Lovett sat under a tree on a picnic blanket, while somewhere in the distance Toby and (y/n) flew a kite.

Mrs. Lovett watched the two as they ran and giggled, having genuine fun. They felt like a family. That's what she wanted, a family.

"Still got to keep an eye on the household expenditure. Which isn't to say we couldn't get some nice taxidermy animals, bring a touch of gentility to the place. You know, a boar's head or two?" she said.

Todd didn't answer. He stared into the distance, paying no attention to the woman beside him.

"Mr. T, you listening to me?" she asked.

Todd nodded, "Of course."

"Then what did I just say?"

He said something about the judge. She was annoyed with how every time she tried to confess her love to the barber, he always blew her off for the judge. Enemies to lovers?

She bent down on her knees and started to rapidly kiss his cheek. "Oh Mr. Todd, I'm so happy! I could eat you up, I really could.

"You know what I'd like to do, what I dream? Where'd I'd really like to go! In a year or so, don't you wanna know?"

"Of course." Todd said.

"Do you really wanna know?"

"Yes, I do."

Mrs. Lovett explains her fantasy. She wants to live near the sea, married to Sweeney, and having Toby as her child. (y/n) would be there too of course, maybe on a boat I don't know.

He nodded along, silently laughing at the fact that there was no way in hell they were getting married, because of the fact that (y/n) and him have been secretly dating for about a month.

"Let's head back." he said. Mrs. Lovett nodded slowly and called over the two children. Well, the one child and the one adult with the mindset of a child.

Anthony burst into the shop, trying to catch his breath, "Mr. Todd, Mrs. Lovett, (y/n)!"

"Hey dude, you look kinda rough, are you alright?" (y/n) asked looking at the greasy sailor.

"She's at Bedlam, isn't she?" Todd exclaimed, and Anthony nodded. Mrs. Lovett gasped slightly and Toby and (y/n) just stared awkwardly.

"Toby, seek out the judge. Judge Turpin. Give him this." he handed the small boy a piece of paper.

"Yes sir, and while I'm out I can stop at the grocery store-"

"No. You're not to stop, you're not to speak. You're to deliver the letter. Do you understand?" he said sternly. (y/n) watched, yeah he was a bit hard on Toby, but god damn was this man fine. Especially when he was mad wink wonk.

"Yes sir." Toby replied, a bit scared. He rushed out the door, off to follow his wishes.

That just left Sweeney and (y/n) alone. He sauntered over to her, her eyes glued to his in anticipation. He towered over her, and lightly grabbed her neck. She sucked in a breath while he smirked slyly.

They both leaned in, the tension too much to bear. Their lips collided while his other hand found its way to her waist. Her hands made their way around his neck, she played with the baby hairs on the back of his neck; making him whimper slightly.
