"Can I kiss you?"
Can shot his head to face Tin quicker than light it may seem. He was definitely not expecting that to come from the other, or anyone in fact. He was at a loss for words as surprise, and confusion expressed themselves on his face. How could Tin even ask him that?
"Wha- Why?" Can stuttered as he still could not fathom the reality of the situation. This was all so bizarre, they had only met a few months ago meeting like something out of a romcom or something, and now he's asking if he could kiss Can?
"You look ethereal." Tin simply said with confidence, hesitation was devoid from his voice. Tin suddenly had this spike of confidence, and a demeanor unlike Can had seen from him. He held a soft smile as he stared at Can, awaiting his answer. He was gazing at him like he was a pearl from the glimmering ocean blue.
Can's mind raced with questions on what he should do. He's never been in this situation so he had no idea on how people react to this kind of stuff, though most people would not know what to do in his shoes. He was staring at can with his lips slightly apart, breathing a little paced, and eyes glimmering with light from the night sky.
After a moment of serene silence, and the raging storm of thoughts in Can's head, the boy didn't realize that he began nodding his head a yes. Tin's smile widened and slowly went in closer, his eyes flickered down to Can's still parted lips. It felt like an eternity of inching closer to him, Tin wanted to see if Can would suddenly protest or if there were any signs of uncomfortableness, but there was none.
Can's eyes followed Tin with anxiousness and a bit of excitement. He didn't know why he nodded his head, he just did. When he realized this, he didn't bother to interject his subconscious' decision, and just went with it.
Once Tin was close enough that their breath mixed with one another, he paused and looked at Can's shimmering eyes, it was deep like the black ocean in front of them with the rippled moonlight shining on its surface, swirls of dark chocolate mixed with it creating a scene more majestic than that presented by the night, at least to Tin.
Tin checked for any discomfort, again there was none so he finally closed the gap with the long awaited kiss. Can's mind was put to a sudden silence as he felt something soft on his lips, when Tin began to move his lips slowly, Can involuntarily closed his eyes. Tin held Can's chin with his right hand, angling it for a more comfortable position.
The kiss lasted a short sweet moment, the slow movements left an unforgettable imprint in both of their memories. Tin released from the kiss, slowly backing away as he observed Can. His eyes were still closed, but slowly opened after a moment. He looked at Tin still with a smile, looking at him like a precious stone.
Can slowly turned his head back to the ocean, still in a state of shock. His mind couldn't process what was happening, and he just stared off into the distance. A blanket of silence surrounded them as the two were in their own completely different worlds.
Tin was in bliss and euphoric high, it was his first time to do this, and the moment made him feel all kinds of things. He sat in content still thinking of the fleeted moment. Can, on the other hand, was in a sea of questions, trying to figure out what had happened. The questions consisted of 'What just happened?', 'Did that really happen?', 'Why did Tin do that?', 'Does he feel something about me?', and much more.
Can would time to time take glances at Tin, wondering what was going on in his head. He was being a little restless, adjusting his position as if something was bothering him, which there was. Tin noticed this, and asked him what was wrong.
"Hey, are you okay?"
Can looked at him with a bit of surprise. He was jumpy.
"Yeah, of course, why wouldn't I be haha" Can spurted out his answers, trying not to look bothered.
