3 - When Destinies Collide

"Alright, that'll be all for today. Goodbye class!" The professor finally said. Words Can wanted to hear since the start. He was crazy hungry at this point, wanting nothing more than to just to devour a 5 course meal. He quickly stuffed everything inside his bag, hurrying to do so. He hastily stood up, slinging his bag on his shoulder. Ae, and Pond,  another friend of theirs, just watch Can sprint through the doors, not even waiting for them.

"He couldn't even wait 5 seconds for us. Does he value food more?" Pond commented, putting on his messenger bag on his shoulder. Ae just pats Pond's shoulder, "Give him a break. He woke up late today, didn't have enough time to eat."

"Typical. And whose fault is that?" Pond turns his head at Ae, raising an eyebrow. "His" The both of them laugh until they hear, "Hey! What's taking you so long? Let's get going already!". The eager, and hungry Can said, more like shouted, to the two of them. "Coming" They both said, going out the door to meet a pouting Can.

"You're too slow, I'm already starving here!" Can complained, rubbing his stomach area to add emphasis in how hungry he is. "Come on you big baby, let's go now so you can eat to your heart's content." Pond said already walking to the cafeteria, Ae following, chuckling a little. "I'm not a baby!" Can whined, stomping his feet to prove his point. "Uhu, sure~ Keep saying that to yourself." Pond teased him, Ae just laughing at the exchange of the two.

"No offense Can but the way your acting now doesn't help your argument at all." Ae commented, dying down from his laughter earlier. Can huffed at his two friends, crossing his arms at them. "Oh just shut up, and let's go." Can said, walking past the two, not even waiting for them. Ae, and Pond quickly catches up with Can. 

"Ohh, is baby Can upset that we teased him?" Pond teased him further, earning himself a cold shoulder from the baby- I mean Can. "Come on, I was only teasing~" Pond put his arm over Can's shoulder, the aforementioned still not recognizing his presence. "Looks like he's not giving you attention anytime soon." Ae butted in. "Just watch." Pond whispered to him.

"Hey Can!" Pond called out to his friend who still isn't acknowledging his presence. "You're still not going to speak to me huh?" No answer. Pond smirked as an idea came into mind. "Oh what a bummer. I was going to pay for your lunch but oh well..."  Can's ears perked up as he heard what Pond said. "And then suddenly I exist again." Pond said, laughing at the situation they were in.

"Careful what you ask for~" Ae mumbled, watching as Can dashed in front of Pond. 'Really?!" Can excitedly asked, hopping about with a big grin on his face. "Well I was, but I guess not-" he was cut off.

"I was just kidding! Come on let's go!" Can grabbed Pond's arm, dragging him through the hallway. "Can wait! Let go of my arm!" Pond said, trying not to trip on the ground. Ae, on the other hand, was shaking his head at the two while catching up with the two. 

"Can slow down, we might fall!" Pond again tried to catch Can's attention but his focus was only to get to the cafeteria as quickly as possible. Students got out of the way of the hurrying Can. "Just hang in there, we're almost at the cafeteria." Pond apologized to every student they encountered, and sent a silent prayer that they won't get in trouble for this.

Once they were finally out of the building, Can let go of Pond's arm. The aforementioned stumbled as that happened, catching his balance before he hits the pavement. "Please tell me beforehand if you're going to drag me through the hallways like that." Pond complained while rubbing his arm because it hurt real bad. "Let's wait for Ae before we-" Can wasn't able to finish as he saw Ae exit the building.

"Ae! Over here!" Can shouted to him. He went to the direction of his voice to see an overly ecstatic Can, and a Pond that is clearly in pain. "Why are you so slow? We could've gotten here earlier." Can said. "I cleared the trail of chaos you left while dragging Pond." Ae stated, fixing his bag. "Can we just go? I didn't let my arm be abused for nothing." Pond said, still rubbing his arm from the pain. 

"Calm down, I said to be careful what you asked for." Ae said with a smug look on his face, taunting Pond. "Let's go! I'm starving!" Can said, already starting to walk. "We know." The two said at the same time, following Can.

As they got to the Cafeteria, Can was talking about the different dishes he wanted to eat. Ae was laughing at the look that Pond has because he realized what a mistake he had done saying to him that he'd buy him lunch. He took a mental note to NEVER do that again. As they were looking for a stall to buy from, Can hadn't noticed that there was someone he was about to bump into. The two fell to the ground as a result, objects was sent falling to the floor, scattering everywhere.

"Oh, I'm so so so sorry!" Can apologized profusely, helping the man get up. Picking up the stuff on the floor, and arranging them, he gave it to the man he bumped into. The man just stood there looking at him. "Again I'm sorry!" With a final apology, Can bowed, and left with his two friends who is holding back the laughter they had.

"Can is so hungry that he didn't even notice someone was in front of him." Pond commented, who can't hold back from teasing Can. "Shut up! I was talking to you. How was I suppose to know that he was there?" Can defended himself, a blush decorating his cheeks. "Maybe if you were attentive, you would've seen him." Ae retorted, chuckling a little from what happened earlier.

"Just... just don't mention it anymore. Let's just order." Can said, walking swiftly to a stall that he saw. Pond, and Ae following the embarrassed Cantaloupe.

Tin was left speechless from what happened. One second he was just standing, minding his own business, then the next he found himself on the floor with his things scattered. When he got up, he looked at the person who crashed into him, and it seems like he didn't know how to speak when he saw him. 

After he left, Tin still stood in his spot, looking at where the guy was earlier. Something about him just intrigued him, something that caught his attention, but he didn't know what. He finally snapped out of his daze when he realized that he probably looked like a fool just standing there, staring into nothingness.

Okay, I don't know anything about universities so Imma make my own rules as I go :P
