Dumerecho kami sa reception area. Belle informed the staff of our appointment and that we are from the CDM company.

The receptionist checked the secretacry of Mr. Laurence first

I turned around because I feel eyes on my back. Of all people, i didnt expect yung face mukha na nakita ko

Nagkatinginan kami ng ilang segundo. Walang kumukurap. Yung tipong kami lang ang tao dito.

Bakit lagi yatang ganito ang situation tuwing mag kikita kami. 

Before we can say anything, I heard the receptionist told belle that mr. laurence is now ready to see us. Kaya napilitan akong tumingin sa team ko.

But my mind is still asking bakit at ano ginagawa niya dito? 

The receptionist then said to Kobie;

"Mr. Brown you can also see mr. laurence now. Please join the CDM on the way up."

Ano? Pero hindi siya kasama sa group. Baka akala ng receptionist magkakasama kami. 

I think kobie is confused like me but he stood up na rin and followed us to the elevator. 

Tinitignan tuloy siya nila, Ashley, francine and belle. Nag tataka din sila but they remained quiet. 

Napunta yung tingin ko sa folder na dala ni Kobie. I saw the logo on top with the word, ABM.

This is the new company name ni Ralph. Dati KD Brownies ang name tapos nabalitaan ko na pinalitan na. 

Im not sure kung ano ang ibig sabihin pero obvious naman Malibunas yung M. 

Baka Brown yung B. Kasi nandito si KObie, parang portfolio yung dala niya. 

Pagpasok naming lahat sa elevator, sumenyas patago si francine at inginuso niya yung folder na dala ni kobie. 

Lahat naman kami ay napatingin dito. We're all like, "what is he doing with us?" sa mga mata na lang kami nag uusap usap na apat.

Baka naman nagkamali lang yun secretary ni Mr. Laurence

 Why would she set up a meeting with the two companies at the same time?

Kobie is tapping his foot while inside the elevator. Maybe hes not comfortable being with our group. 

We reached the sixth floor in no time. The three angels went out before me. 

Kobie is on my side quick. We started going na to the conference room. 

"Hey so you have indeed switched company. Do i know which one you transferred to? mukhang bigatin ang kumpanya ninyong apat ah." he asked while walking beside me. 

"Oh not really big, maliit na kumpanya lang. Ikaw , kay Ralph ka uli nag wowork?" sagot ko habang nakatingin sa folder na dala niya. 

"Oo parang ganun na nga. Hindi siya pwede ngayon kaya sinabihan niya ako na ako ang pumunta dito sa meeting." he replied. 

Does it mean he's staying here for good again? what's his plan? how about his gf?, mika?

Am I really that interested pa sa buhay ni Kobie? After 3 years, hindi pa talaga ako naka moved on that's for sure. 

Is it really our fate to see each other again?

Sabagay matagal ko ng ipinaubaya sa kapalaran ang kwento ng aming buhay. May reason siguro kung bakit kami pinag tagpo uli.

Para sumakit tuloy ang ulo ko. 

Hay, wag ngayon. I cant afford to have headached baka mag ka lapses ako sa presentation. 

We finally reached the conference room. nandun na sa loob si Christy, yung secretary. 

"Goodmorning christy, kamusta na?" bati ko sa kanya. 

"Hi andi, morning too. Eto sexy pa rin kahit super busy." sagot niya. 

Mabait itong si christy, i have met her many times na dito sa office nila and sometimes outside pag may mga social gatherings related to business. 

"Maupo muna kayi, papunta na rin si sir dito." she said, 

Then she saw kobie. 

"Oh , kobie brown from ABM, tama?" tanong niya

"Oo ako nga." kobie replied. 

"Have a seat too. Raplh called and informed me that you are representing him today. He also mentiones that youre partner in the business so thats no problem. You can decide on the spot if needed," she replied.

Ohh so partners na pala sila. Wow, Hindi ko expect yun. Alam ko family business nila ralpgh to. But theyre cousin naman kaya siguro naisip ni Kobie mag join na rin. 

You might think that my company and Ralphs are the same. Yes, we are both advertising but we use different mediums. 

ABM is an advertising agency. I worked there remember? Their concept is to be part of the marketing mix. Pag nakuha na nila yung clietn, gagawa sila ng creative ad for the product para ma introduce na ito sa mga tao. 

Diba idol ko nga si Jack Ma. One of his rule is that, " you learn from your competitor but do not copy".

So, CDM is a digital marketing/advertising afency. we focused in results based marketing in the digital world.

 We promote brands and products online or through other digital channels.

 Dyan papasok si Belle since forte niya yang social media. Si Ashley yung gagawa ng captions, dadagdagan ni Francine ng mga funny ideas para mas matandaan ng mga tao. AKo ang nasa final stage, sasabihin ko sa kanila kung okay na or kulang pa. 

But of course may mga inputs din ako. 

Kami ang mga pioneers dito sa CDM. Lima lang kami nung una, ngayon 20 na. 

Bago ko simulan ang business , eto yung mantra.

You dont build a business. You build people . Then, people build the business. 

Kaya I take care of them. I make sure na well compensated sila.Pag may big accounts na nakukuha, may mga bonusses lahat, from the top up the rank and file, pantay lahat sa bonus. 

May naka schedule na kaming outing this summer pero I told them na pag nakuha namin itong Starhunt account, pwede nilang isama ang family nila sa company outing. 

But enough of that. 

If kobie is here, it means that their company also submitted a proposal for thiis account. 

Our companies will be competing against each other. 

I felt sad naman, I know that business is business. Walang kapatid , kamag anak or kaibigan when it comes to business.

Pero yung malaman ko na sila Ralph at Kobie papala makakalaban namin, im not comfortable. 

MAy pinagsamahan din naman kami kahit papano. 

I looked at kobie. Talagang pinaghandaan niya yata itong meeting. I can feel na tensed din siya. Siya ba naamn ang ipadala ni Ralph dito. 

I will be presenting pa naman ngayon. 

Should i be subtle on my presentation?

But i cant do that. My team is relying on me so icant let them down.

Sorry Kobie. Let the game begins.
