Chapter 5:The Move

{Zay's POV}

I watched as Dr.Plague pack all the things in the house needed for the move

"Ya gonna help?"He asked, sweating profusely.

"No <3"

"Fuck you."

"Fuck you too lol." I replied back, flipping him off. I heard him sigh and continued watching. After a while, he finished packing up the essentials.

"Now will you help me?"

"Nah."

"..."

"Okay fine." I groaned as I helped carry at least one of the bags.

"How are you able to hold stuff now?"

"I have no idea"

"Anyways, we better move" He said, as he started to do a quick jog. I rolled my eyes as I proceed to speedrun there. I looked behind as Dr.Plague tried to catch up to me. After much running I reach the skyscraper. I stopped, almost skidding into the glass doors. I then looked back  to see my friend just trudging behind, huffing and catching his breath. When he reached me, he stopped to take a breather.

"Hah, your slower" I said jokingly

"Not . Funny." He said before walking inside, opening the doors. I walked inside only to be greeted by the glass door smacking into my face.

"OW! What the fuck?!" I said angrily. I opened the door by myself and closed it once I entered.

"Ah, you're here." Sean said. I looked around, confused on where did his voice come from.

"Up here." he said. I looked up to see him on the railings at the indoor balcony.

"How do you even have perfect balance?" I questioned him.

"Simple, balance."

"That does not answer my question in any way."

"And?"

"Ugh you know what? Fine." I groaned.

"Anyways, Let me help with the baggage, Dr.Plague." Sean said, looking at Dr.Plague

Sean then proceeds to jump down from the balcony.

"Aren't you gonna hurt your-" Zay said before seeing him land with no injuries.

"Oh nevermind."

"What do you expect from Recon?"

"Him breaking like, 20% of his bones."

"Fair enough." Dr.Plague said. They both heard a ding as the elevator doors open. Inside was Tinker, and beside it was a...standing fluffy vanilla ice cream?

"Hello guys!" Tinker said, waving

"What is that?"

"....our pet-"

"Oh yeah, that one thing you were talking bout a few hours ago."

"Yeah. We call him Mango."

"Why do you call him that when he's made of vanilla?"

"I don't know."

"Why?"

"Because Recon named him, not me."

"W h a t."

"Yeah, also did you know tha-" She was the cut off by Sean

"Ok that's enough Eagle. We gotta help them move the baggage."

"Ah, yes! I almost forgot. Hehe, thanks Recon." Tinker said before walking towards Dr.Plague and grabbing most of the baggage he was carrying before walking to the lift

"Wh- I- Wha- HUH?!?" Dr.Plague said confused.
"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you. I can carry heavy stuff with ease so don't worry!" Tinker said before going into the elevator.

"So much for carrying the baggage!" I teased Dr.Plague before entering the elevator. Dr.Plague sighed before entering also. The doors then close as the elevator starts to elevate to the top floor. Dr.Plague looked at Mango, who was also staring at Dr.Plague. He then looked away from Mango and at the number of the floor. 68 floors had gone by, 32 more to go now.

"Sooooo....how's everything?" Tinker asked Zay and Dr.Plague

"Oh, its great" We both said

"Jinx!" We both said jokingly before laughing together. Tinker smiled and noticed that they reached the top floor

"Guys, it's the top floor now." Tinker reminded us before exiting the elevator, Mango following behind her. We both looked at Tinker and followed her

"Choose your room!" Tinker said before leaving the baggage on the floor and walking to her own room. Mango simply just walked away.

{Third Person POV}

The halls stretched across as the two looked at each room they came by. They then decided to pick rooms opposite from each other not so far from the elevator.After much unboxing,they finished their rooms.

"Finally! And the sun's setting too." Dr.Plague said, stretching his arms 

"Pretty." Zay said, staring at the warm and cozy glow from the setting sun.

"Welp I better hit the sack. We've been unpacking for most of the day."

"Yeah, you go do your thing. I'll go into my room and do my own thing" Zay said before the two entered their rooms.
